“Amazing restaurant with amazing food. The breakfast are very cheap and delicious. Stuff is extremely kind and helpful.”
“The best breakfast! Fresh pastries, hot bread, and amazing coffee. Everything was so delicious, thank you! Highly recommended.”
“A lovely little cafe, visited mostly by locals on the corner of a road junction. A nice spot to relax, watch the world pass by. Local prices, much lower than what you see near the main square. Liked the Nus Nus coffee with milk, pastries were alright.”
“Established in 1936 this is the main meeting point for the locals. It's always busy. Locals just sit here, drink Moroccon tea, smoke, and gab... for hours, generally sitting facing the street. The service is excellent. Food, although basic, but very tasty. Tea, coffee and juices are great too. Prices are reasonable. Coffee from 17MAD to 22MAD. Meals from 28 dirhams etc. I have added a picture of the full menu which is just a single page. Languages spoken are French, Arabic, and some English.”
“Came here around 3pm on a Thursday and could get seated without a wait. The place was at about 50% capacity and you could easily sit inside or outside. We ordered the orange juice and cappuccino, which were great! We were a little disappointed by the yoghurt with fruit because there was very little fruit in it, so I am giving this spot 4 stars”
“This is a really nice cafe in the Gueliz area right next to Diwane Hotel. It is spacious with options to sit inside and out. It has been around since 1936 and has become a landmark of the Gueliz area. It was probably frequented by colonials at tge time but has now become a hangout foe locals. The best thing to do in Marrakesh is to not have breakfast at your hotel but to go out to places like this for local flavour. We had breakfast and coffee, and all was good. Plus, they make their own bread. Reasonable prices, too! Perfect place to sit and observe Marrakesh hub hub.”
