“Overall disappointing stay. The place is advertised as an aparthotel, but in reality it is just a set of apartments with very limited service. There is someone on-site, but it feels more like security than an actual reception. No assistance on arrival, no help with luggage even after a long trip. You cannot call reception — you have to go downstairs every time you need something. Issues encountered: • TV not working at all • Heating ineffective and not available in all rooms • Took until the second day for someone to come and attempt to fix the heating • Faulty or unreliable equipment (iron, coffee machine, etc.) • Poor organization: repeated requests and constant need to go downstairs for basic issues Impact: wasted time, discomfort, frustration, and an experience far below expected standards, especially for a family stay. The photos are also misleading: apartments are much more empty and lower quality in reality. Positive points: • Hot water available • Okay for sleeping • Towels and toilet paper provided when requested • Helped us re-enter when we were locked out Conclusion: acceptable for sleeping, but not at the level of an aparthotel. Overall disappointing experience. I do not recommend.”

“I am pretty disappointed by the Zari hotel boutique behavior as I did travelled by plane to Marrakech, arrived at 4.30pm to get the notification from the reception that it was cancelled. No news prior to my arrival came from booking.com nor the Zari boutique hotel. Despite the front desk lady who was very shamefull of the situation and sorry that their management cancelled the reservation without prior notice nor excuses, I had to spent 30 minutes on the phone with booking at my own expenses to be relocated to an other accommodation that didn't fully tick my criterias. Complete process took me 2.5 hours. If you want to take the risk to been cancelled while tryning to check in take the Zari hotel. If you want to have a smoother experience don’t book this hotel.”

“We booked Oct 1–5 through Expedia and arrived fully intending to stay. The room we were given was unsanitary (dead bugs on floor, yellow stained pillows, huge water puddle on kitchen floor, women's hair on the bed, uncleaned floor, mold on soap dispenser, floor coming apart, etc.) completely unfit for use, so we walked out immediately. We spoke to the manager, who assured us a full refund would be issued after contacting the owner. After that, the hotel went silent. Two weeks later, the owner told Expedia we were “past the cancellation window” and even claimed he offered us an upgrade, something that never happened. We never canceled; we showed up and simply couldn’t stay due to the state of the room. We have given the Aparthotel many changes to remedy this but no response. Expedia issued only a 15% refund despite clear proof the room was uninhabitable. We have lost over $800+, along with the costs and headache of trying to find a last minute hotel at 9 pm. This property is mismanaged, unreliable, filthy, and not worth the risk. Avoid it and walk away as if your life depended on it. So disappointing.”

“Our experience here was just ok. When we arrived, the apartment seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned. The floors were dirty (which was not ideal when traveling with a baby who wants to crawl on the floor all the time), the kitchen counter was sticky and there were towels hanging in both bathrooms as if they had been left there by the previous guests. They sent someone to clean the next day, which was nice. The door to the bedroom didn’t click shut meaning that the bedroom door would always be cracked open. We didn’t have soap in the bathrooms but when we asked, we were given a new container. The staff was friendly, which we appreciated. The apartment is in a good, quiet location. The staff was nice and let us store our luggage there after we checked out. Overall, the experience was just ok. Not terrible but not great.”

“Avoid at all costs! The room was severely outdated and not as advertised. They cover the sewer smell is with so much bleach that you’re constantly breathing in the bleach. Had to chase out the flies out the window. Neighborhood is also not nice, lots of construction going on.”
