“My wife and I stayed at Bakkal Agrolodge and it became one of our favourite stays. Yassine and his team were incredible. Their approach is to make you feel at home, and that really comes through in how they operate - any request, big or small, is met with genuine enthusiasm and care. The food was also amazing and very generous. The turnoff isn’t perfect on Google Maps (it says you can turn left but you need to go up further and turn around) but easy enough to figure out.”

“Bakkal Farm is an incredibly relaxing oasis from the hubbub of Marrakesh. Yassine is a wonderful host; nothing was too much trouble for him and his delightful team, in a very understated way, and so you feel completely at home. The building and pool are aesthetically pleasing and there are many different spaces in which to relax. Our room was large and beautiful. Small design details, like a picture window at the sink in the bathroom so you can look out at the surrounding nature while brushing your teeth, are the little touches that make this place so pleasant and appealing. The water in the pool was the perfect temperature. Swimming back towards the house was heaven. The home-cooked meals are simple and delicious with most of the food directly from the farm. And it’s not expensive. I didn’t want to leave!”

“What an amazing place! Beautiful rooms, wonderful authentic marroccan food and incredibly helpful staff. We felt like home and enjoyed every moment of our stay. If you are looking for a quiet unique hidden gem only 30 minutes drive from the centre of Marrakesh, this is the place! Romantic and very family friendly. We loved our stay!”
