“Rooms are bit on the small size but honestly excellent for the price point. Service has been great and the location is right in the old Marrakech Medina. You walk out and in less than a minute tour among the stalls and near Jemaa fnaa square”

“Salah is the kindest, best, friendliest receptionist we had in all of Morocco. I arrived tired and very grumpy, (I’m usually very nice, but that day I was not so nice!) Salah was so lovely, patient and kind. The location was fabulous, so close to the main square…but what made our trip unforgettable was the best receptionist, Salah. He helped us arrange everything. SO helpful. God bless him and his family.”

“Danger! Do not stay here. The manager Mohamed Haoua stole 1300dh from me. He refuses to give me my money back. He also threatened physical violence if I called the police. This place should be shut down. It is one thing to scam. Another thing to steal and threaten people.”

“I booked one night in a private room here. I informed them of my arrival time. I arrived at the exact time I said I would - 22hrs. Upon arrival the receptionist told me they are fully booked and my reservation was cancelled. They didn’t cancel it on the app, they didn’t message me, they didn’t suggest alternative accommodation and they completely stole my deposit. Do not stay here!”

“Casa del Sol it's a nice place to be based when I'm Marrakesh. Good location and friendly staff. The accommodations are pretty simple and fair for the price. Breakfast included was nice I was supposed to stay in a shared dorm but the fact of not having the privacy (curtains) and space expected. There was also not much bathroom/showers available. All in the ground level. They offered the private single room for an honest extra. It was a good deal. Initially I was disappointed with the fact the there was no heater equipment working in the shared or private room since it's really cold at night (booking.com page says that there is a/c). After talking about that with the reception, they allowed me and portable heater that helped a lot. I you like to thank Casa del Sol for staying here and hope they keep improving their services.”
