“We went for a couples hammam and 30 minute massage. The host was very nice and clear about instructions, the hammam was very enjoyable and time was taken over both of us. The massage was lovely, the masseuses were very kind and the massage itself was relaxing. Considering the price, the whole experience was amazing and very worth it. A great option for a more budget friendly option in Marrakech.”

“Tucked away down a quiet alley in the Marrakech medina, the Hammam and spa experience at Riad Al Ksar is a true hidden gem. The hammam itself was fabulous—an authentic and deeply relaxing ritual that began with black soap, followed by a thorough exfoliation and nourishing clay masks. The experience continued with a soothing wash, including soaping and shampoo, leaving us feeling completely refreshed and renewed. After the hammam, we enjoyed expert massages that were both relaxing and restorative—the perfect complement to the treatment. To finish, we were invited to the rooftop terrace for mint tea, a peaceful and lovely way to end the experience while taking in the atmosphere of the medina. A truly indulgent and memorable spa experience—highly recommended while in Marrakech.”

“We had a couples hammam + massage experience at Al Kasar spa. Overall the experience was ok. This is a mid to low budget spa and notably cheaper than many other options in Marrakech. In the end you get what you pay for - the hammam part of the experience, provided by Fatima, definitely felt rushed and rather more rough than others I have experienced. We didn't get the feeling that Fatima enjoyed her job. The massage however was very nice. The girls were nice, patient and took their time, even if it was perhaps not the best massage ever. As mentioned in other reviews, the robes and slippers are quite oily when you arrive which gives the impression that cleanliness could be improved. We would have liked to spend more time relaxing around the riad after the treatment, perhaps eat and drink more, but it wasn't really made clear to us if we were welcome to do so and were not told about the rooftop despite it being a nice day. We were also not offered a shower or even a towel after the massage, leaving me feeling rather oily for the rest of the day. A little more attention to detail and service would make this a better experience. I suggest finding somewhere else if you can afford it.”

“We had a couples hammam experience at Riad Al Ksar & Spa, and as it was the first time for both of us, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect. It turned out to be a really lovely and relaxing experience. The riad itself is beautiful once you find it, with stunning décor and a very authentic feel. I can understand how some people might find it slightly tricky to locate in the Medina, but the location on Google Maps is accurate, and we found it without any issues. We booked via WhatsApp about three days in advance, and when we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown to a changing room with lockers. We were given robes and slippers, and then taken through to the private hammam area. My partner wore swim trunks and I wore bikini bottoms, which worked perfectly. Our therapist, Fatima, was fantastic. She guided us gently through each step of the hammam, explaining where to sit or stand and making sure we both felt completely comfortable and at ease. The scrub was thorough but not harsh at all — I was particularly worried about it being too rough on my chest as I have very sensitive skin, but it was absolutely fine and surprisingly relaxing. After the hammam we had a massage and requested medium pressure, which was spot on. To finish, we were served delicious peppermint tea on the beautiful rooftop terrace, which was the perfect way to end the experience. I would definitely recommend this to first-time couples looking to try a traditional Moroccan hammam in a calm, authentic setting. A really special experience during our stay in Marrakech”

“My husband and I had the hammam and massage package, it was absolutely brilliant value for money and the experience was unlike anything else. Fatima made us feel very comfortable with how confident and friendly she was, despite the fact that we don’t speak the same language. Houda and Mustafa the massage therapists were equally brilliant. They were so professional but still friendly and really knew what they were doing. We both left feeling unbelievably relaxed and refreshed. Also whatever hair products they used were amazing - we both have curly hair and my husband was getting compliments on his hair for the rest of the day!”
