From the moment we arrived, Mr Yassine welcomed us warmly and served traditional Moroccan tea and sweets, making us feel instantly at home. The room was exceptional, with every detail thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented. The atmosphere, comfort, and hospitality exceeded our expectations. “I had a very disappointing experience with Riad Nafis. Before arrival, I simply asked whether it was possible to add an extra bed since there were 3 of us. This was a reasonable question, especially because the listing mentioned that extra beds could be available. I was not making any demands—just asking for clarification. The host confirmed my booking, asked about my arrival time, and said that adding a bed was not possible. That would have been fine, but the situation escalated unnecessarily. After I explained why I asked, the host suddenly told me I could not come, said I was “not welcome,” and even called me “very demanding.” This was shocking and unprofessional. At no point was I rude or demanding—I was simply trying to understand my options. Being told last minute to cancel and being treated this way is unacceptable, especially when traveling. I would not recommend this place due to the host’s poor communication and attitude. Travelers deserve basic respect.”

From the moment we arrived, Ibrahim was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making check-in smooth and stress-free and ensuring we felt at home right away. A special thank you as well to the manager, Hameed, who truly made our stay exceptional. He took great care of us every morning with delicious daily breakfasts and was always available to help with anything we needed. The riad itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located, making it a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. We would highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakesh and would happily stay here again.”

“We stayed at Riad Nafis for 2 days. Hospitality as expressed by staff was top notch. Yassine was always there to look after us. Ibrahim was always very supportive helping us with luggage and made lovely Moroccan tea.”

The location is great, just outside of the Medina. As two females travelling, we felt very safe staying here. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again!”

“Can say I would never go back. Forced to pay cash on arrival when booked through hotels.com, at like 9pm at night, I had to go to an ATM. It’s way off the beaten path, kinda sketchy. Not a clean nice area, sets way back in a maze. The area is not exciting unless you go to the markets. I travel extensively and this is one place I would not return. The area or the Riad. One positive, the staff was nice. I would say a 2 star accommodation at best.”
