“An unforgettable stay – highly recommend We stayed at Riad Utopia Suites & Spa for three days/two nights and had a truly fabulous experience from start to finish. The riad itself is absolutely beautiful — serene, stylish, and incredibly calming, offering the perfect escape from the energy of the medina. What really sets this riad apart is the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, warm, helpful, and genuinely accommodating. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their attention to detail made us feel completely at home. The Moroccan food prepared in-house was outstanding — some of the best meals we had in Morocco. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and genuinely memorable. We looked forward to every meal. Riad Utopia strikes the perfect balance between comfort, authenticity, and tranquility. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech who wants a peaceful, high-quality riad experience with exceptional hospitality. Five out of five — absolutely wonderful.”
“Epic fail. For $250 usd per night you get a windowless room which is essentially a converted supply room next to a restaurant. There is no air in the room. Restaurant noise means no sleep at night or in the morning as breakfast starts at 7:30. The room itself has been designed by a 8 year old with no sense. At 18m sq you would think you get a spacious room. Well 60% of the room is taken by a concrete tub it is raised off the floor with stairs needing to climb into it and the even cut most of the back off to make it easier to get into it. So it is actually useless as a tub less than a foot of water can be poured into it. But it makes the rest of the room feel more cramped than a capsule hotel. Zero luggage storage, 2 tiny closets at the bed. A TV straight out of 2k era sticks a foot out of the wall mounted at 4ft level blocks the passage to the bed creating a hazard at night. You would think that with a 20ft ceiling you could mount it out of the way but that would require thought which clearly the hotel designer lacked. Don't get me started on the wonderful puzzle box switches 2 switches in a specific combo required to turn on a single light.”
“Perfect size room, very clean and good bathroom facilities. Close to the main areas, very walkable and if u need a taxi there are plenty at the end of the main road. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, we didn’t do dinner at the Riad. Would stay again and highly recommend! Resonable rates. We booked directly on their website and got transfer from airport to Riad included.”
“Fantastic Riad! Extremely clean, very nice personnel and quiet! Definitely recommend staying here.”
“We were looking forward to stay at this beautiful oasis, especially after reading the positive reviews. But unfortunately it was a big big disappointment. Honestly, the riad is beautiful, clean and at a good location. But the male staff (both older men) are rude, unmannered and ruined the whole experience. Evertime they saw me (female), they came after me, insulting me that I have no manners, that I am rude, accusing me of things I didn't do. And when I would start an argument with them they started to scream, even worse, when my boyfriend would arrive, they would start talking to him and ignored me (yes while standing right in front of them next to my boyfriend)! One evening when my boyfriend ordered some drinks and snacks, they got angry, they said "you keep us awake, we cannot sleep because of you". I have this on video so it is not just some story. I paid a lot of money to stay in this riad and not in a regular hotel. But what a shame this whole experience is. I have informed the riad about it but hardly an understanding from their side. This riad is beautiful but so so unfriendly, especially for women, one is not allowed to laugh or talk because making noise is not allowed, one cannot order in the evening because the reception wants to sleep! Such a shame of all the money I paid and what a bad experience......... I know many Moroccan people and for me they are known as warm, kind, friendly, helpful. And not like this. A very big let down..”
“Absolutely fantastic Riad. So clean and peaceful in the bustling city of Marrakech. A real oasis. The wonderful staff were so helpful and friendly. We couldn’t fault our stay one little bit.”
