“I wanted to do a really honest review as a hotel guest rather than day pass because I think some of the reviews are misleading. We stayed here for 3 nights and whilst we had a nice time, it was not what I was expecting. Firstly, it’s tired and need updating- I think it was probably really lovely 10 years ago. The menu is very limited (same thing every night) and 2 choices for starter and main. You can only find out what’s available to eat at 6pm which is very late to make alternative plans. The food is ok. There was no alcohol served when we went so we had to pay for a taxi to take us to the supermarket and we had to drink it in our room. No fridge or kettle in the room. This is a 3 star hotel at most. The pool was lovely and warm which was a real bonus and some of the staff were very friendly!”

“Our final day at Villa 55. Just want to say a big thank you to Patrice and Umayma for making our stay a wonderful experience. Patrice treated us like guests at his own home. Villa 55 is set in tranquill settings. Very calm and peaceful. The food is amazing and the chef is brilliant. The ambience is perfect for a family getaway. The pool is the standout feature and the surround is very nice. Patrice can cater for all holiday needs and activities and made excellent recommendations to make our stay even more special. Special thanks to my younger brother Said who was very hospitable and looked after us well and Aline for helping out with arranging activities. Also thanks to Hamid for driving us around - such a nice young man. All staff are so kind and polite. Amazing team and venue.”

“My family and I (3 kids aged 8, 5 and 3) stayed here for October half term for 6 nights. We checked into one of the lovely suites which had two bedrooms and a spacious lounge, so more than enough room for everyone (which is always a problem for a family of 5). The room was clean and cleaned daily. And nothing was too much for the cleaning staff from helping us with our washing at the end of the trip to changing the bedding when the temperature changed. The kids (and the adults) LOVED the heated pool which was one of the best heated pools we have ever experienced. The pool was always a generous 29 degrees with lovely sun beds. There is a table tennis table which our boys loved too. However, our stay was truly elevated by the incredible staff at the hotel. We would like to say a huge thank you to Patrice, Charlotte, Hashid and Nouomane who made the trip. Nothing was too much trouble. Charlotte & Patrice organised our day trips including quad biking, aqua park, camel rides, restaurants and our transportation around the city. I was worried we would pay more for the trips but actually these were the same prices to what we could find online. Even relaxing by the pool Nuomane always made sure we were happy. For example, if we asked for a parasol for some shade Nuomane ensured he kept moving the parasol throughout the day to make sure we were still in the shade which is incredible service. Our children each put CJ asked some toys from the souk and then broke them during the trip - however tye each asked Hashid to fix them which he did with a smile. Thank you Hashid. Initially we were concerned the menu wouldn’t be suited to our taste, especially with fussy children. However, the staff altered the menu to make sure we were catered for. My only criticism is that I think the food in the hotel is a little expensive. There are not any restaurants close by (unless you have a car or take a taxi). The food towards the end of our stay was very good. Thank you to Villa 55 for having us, we will definitely be recommending this jewel of a hotel to our friends and family. “I can’t rate them on the hotel room or on the property service so this review is ONLY as to the owner and management who decided to cancel my booking ONE DAY before our check in date, even though we booked 2 rooms, a month in advance and were traveling with 2 children. I personally sent a message to confirm our 2 room booking. When I called Booking, they mentioned the owner stated, “personal issues” for cancelling. No apologies, no response to phone call and chat message- I bet the personal issue was getting more money from last minute guests because the hotel is open and operational. Booking did offer 50% of the booking as an apology for the Villa owner’s unprofessional behavior. If you value integrity and honesty, skip this place. I feel bad for the people who work for this owner because I”ll never want to take business away from hard working, good people.”

“It was an ok place to be. The locals offered a great service but the French people was quite rude to their employees. It was really a hassle to set up things with them before arriving, and sometimes they lied about what we have agreed on before. For someone with limited time to plan vacations, definitely not the place to be. Further we found cockroaches and spiders inside the rooms. Besides there were stains in the cushions. It is very rustic. The rooms didn’t offered good sound proof so it there was music out in the pool, you could hear it from the room. There was a villa just next to this one with cheaper and high quality rooms.”

Really recommand Villa55 at 10000% if u have chance to visit. They offer as well pool passes at gentle price if u just passing by kech.”
