Riad l'Esprit des Patios

“I stayed at Riad l'Esprit des Patios in Marrakech and had a mixed experience overall. Pros: The riad is absolutely beautiful inside, with a charming and authentic atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is a highlight — it features a small pool and the option to have breakfast there, which is a lovely touch. The staff were generally very kind and welcoming during my stay. Cons: The breakfast could be significantly improved. It mainly consists of simple carbohydrates, with very limited protein (usually just a fried egg), and the selection is almost the same every day, which becomes repetitive. I also tried the spa services. The foot and leg massage was average, acceptable for the price. However, the pedicure was disappointing — one of my nails was cut too short, which caused it to bleed, and there was no apology from the staff member. The rooms are not well soundproofed. One night around 4 a.m., other guests were very loud inside the riad. Unfortunately, there was no noticeable response from the staff, and the noise continued for about an hour, which negatively affected the stay. The street leading to the riad can feel somewhat uncomfortable at night, with people sleeping outside in the later hours.”

“My friend and I really enjoyed our stay in the junior suite. It had everything we were looking for, including a safe, kettle, coffee maker and comfortable beds. It had a large shower in the ensuite bathroom with plenty of hot water. On the ground floor It looked out onto the bright inner courtyard with its cosy seating and fountain filled with fresh rose petals. Two floors up is the roof terrace where we were able to take breakfast. There are also loungers there with towels and sunhats and a large plunge pool. There is also a toilet and shower. Down one floor from our room was a small Hamman and treatment room. Although it looked inviting unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to try it out. The location of the riad meant it was very quiet. Whilst the narrow street did not allow cars to reach it, it was no more than a minutes walk to a small square that allowed for cars and small vans. As we enjoyed free transport from the airport someone from the riad was waiting for the taxi to arrive in-the square and wheel our cases for us. The riad is only about 5 minutes walk from the main shopping street in the medina and main square. If returning to Marrakech we would definitely return to this riad. . All the staff were delightful and made us feel completely at home. We would have no hesitation in recommending this riad.”

“We stayed here on our trip to Marrakech. Location is fantastic, just a short walk to the centre but also very nice restaurants right beside. Riad is stunning. Staff are very helpful and friendly. My wife got food poisoning on the last night (not from the riad) and they went above and beyond to make her comfortable, making a room available well beyond our check out time. Highly recommend.”

“My stay at this Riyad was beyond expectations! The welcomming warm and super friendly staff. The food was the best I had on the whole trip, made with love and served on the beautifull terrace 🥰 I also enjoyed a relaxing massage and a super breakfast in the morning. Can't wait to go back. A huge plus for the location. So East access to the Médina and the pickup driver from the AirPort could drive us all the way to the door almost- this is not always the case in the Médina som it was a huge plus.”

“We stayed at this wonderful place back in September 2025 but just reviewing our photos and remembered what an exquisite time we had in this Riad. The architecture is breathtaking the bedrooms tastefully decorated and roomy and super comfortable all facilities A1 lovely rooftop pool. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were all super friendly absolutely wonderful 👍 and just a short hop into the Medina.”
