“The worst experience ever. The restaurant was recommended by the owner of the riad. I'm writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at Marjana restaurant. We visited the restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, it fell short on several fronts. First, the food was served cold, which was a major letdown. We ordered some hot starters, but they arrived lukewarm, lacking the flavor and presentation we were hoping for. What really took the cake, however, was the payment debacle. Despite informing the staff that we needed to pay by card (the riad owner noticed them before dinner was starting), they only accepted cash. We had to scramble to find an ATM, which was not convenient. The lady at the desk kept saying that it was our fault because we should have asked for electonic payment before starting (but we did through the riad owner). The service was very lacking, with our server seeming disinterested and unresponsive to our needs. Absolutely not recommended.
