“The square can be quite chaotic, so it's best to steer clear of any men accompanied by animals like snakes and monkeys, as they may ask for money. However, the fruit stalls are definitely worth a visit; you can get a large mixed fruit assortment for just 2 euros. On the other hand, I recommend avoiding the food stalls, as they have a tendency to rip you off. Instead, consider trying the nearby restaurants, which are also affordable and serve excellent food. They’re especially enjoyable in the evening!”
“So much fruit juice! Don’t touch/go near the men with the snakes or monkeys, unless of course you want to have to haggle and pay for a photograph. The food stall set up at night, smell delicious, but sorry I was not brave enough to try one.”
“This was our first food experience in Marrakech, we went here because Mark Wiens recommended it, and it was a good experience. They were very friendly and served us pretty quick, the food was tasty and fresh, and it pretty cheap also.”
“square full of life in the evening”
“The prices for the street food in this market, not just this shop is same as a restaurant. The only people who eat here are pressured by the harassment you receive. I was going to eat here, but with all the people fighting for you to who eats where, i just left hungry. Hope the men calm down and people can enjoy eating there.”
“The Djemaa El-Fna place is known for its daily activities that characterize it. There are restaurants and cafes that feed visitors to this place. There are also shops selling clothes and accessories in the Pyrenees. In the center of the square there are juices. There are also women who carve girls' hands with henna, and there are performances of dancing, singing, acrobatic movements, and magic shows performed by a special men's band at night.”
