“I genuinely think this is one of the best pizzas you can find in Marrakech—but that’s partly because there isn’t much real, authentic competition in the city yet. I ordered the Florencia pizza (without olives), and overall, it was very enjoyable. In terms of pure taste, I’d easily give it a solid 9/10. The sauce was well-balanced, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Everything tasted fresh, and it was definitely a pizza I enjoyed eating. However, where it falls short is authenticity—especially considering they claim to serve Neapolitan-style pizza. The dough, for example, had too much semolina (“fino”), which is quite common in Morocco but not typical of true Neapolitan pizza. A proper Neapolitan crust should be softer, lighter, and more airy, with that characteristic fluffy edge (cornicione). Here, the texture was good, but it didn’t quite reach that level of lightness and elasticity you’d expect from the original tradition. As for the cheese, it was tasty and fresh, but it felt more like a uniform layer spread across the pizza rather than the distinct pieces of fresh mozzarella you usually see on authentic Neapolitan pizzas. That difference might seem small, but it does affect both texture and overall experience. Now, before anyone says “you only ordered a simple pizza”—yes, I did. But simple pizzas are actually the best way to judge quality. If a place can’t perfect a basic one, the toppings won’t fix it. That said, I also tried bites from other pizzas at the table, and I have to admit their variety and topping combinations are creative and well-executed. So overall: • Taste: 9/10 • Authenticity (Neapolitan standards): 6.5/10 In conclusion, it’s a very good pizza spot for Marrakech standards, and I would definitely recommend it. Just don’t go in expecting a fully authentic Neapolitan experience.
“This is real pizza guys! The best you will get in Marrakesch. Without a doubt. The kitchen looks just like Italy. Hot oven, freshly made pizza, a huge pizza dough maker! Everything is open and transparent! Please come here and support this business! Also, Farah was a wonderful waitress. She looked after us every step of the way. To all italians: COME HERE IF YOU WANT A TASTE OF HOME NEAPOLITAN PIZZA!”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely amazing experience at Gucciano Lab! 🍕 The pizzas were incredibly delicious with fresh ingredients and authentic Neapolitan style. The pasta was also excellent. The service was outstanding — super friendly, attentive and welcoming. There is a great selection of food and drinks, and the prices are very fair for the quality you get. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Marrakech. We will come back! 🇲🇦❤️”

“This is a great pizzeria, modern, clean, and most importantly, amazing pizzas. The pizzas comprise of thin fluffy bases, crispy, light airy crusts, generous high-quality ingredients and toppings. Delicious! Add friendly staff and super quick service, and place is a winner. A pity I am calorie counting or I would order another pizza!”
