“Omg! Hands down the best Chawarma I have ever had in my life! So fresh and so yummy! I had it with extra sauce and fries! Also get a "mojito". It was so good we came twice. ❤️”
“Honestly a great experience! Barouk 155 is located in a small street. It’s a cozy place for street food vibes. We are definitely outspoken on food quality and I would recommend everyone to come and eat here. The food was good, the staff was nice, and the prices are amazing. We had the falafel and hummus, the beef tajine and the chicken taco’s, all were great!!”
“A gem of a find! We were walking through the souk when we found the little place and so happy we decided to try it. They have seating outside and upstairs, we sat upstairs where there was a gentle breeze and the sound of the souk. The coffee was one of the best latte I have had. We got the chicken wrap and it came with a portion of fries. The wrap tasted fresh and packed with flavour. Super happy we stumbled upon this spot.”
“We visited Barouk 155 and overall had a good experience. The shawarmas were really good - flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. The fries were also very tasty and perfectly cooked, which made the meal enjoyable. However, we ordered a Nutella crepe for dessert and unfortunately it was served burnt, which was disappointing. The service was also on the slower side, which affected the overall experience slightly, hence one star less. That said, the owners are friendly and welcoming, and the food taste overall is nice. With a bit more attention to service speed and quality control on desserts, this place can be even better. Overall, a solid 4-star experience.”
“It’s a small place with two tables on the street (in the Medina so it’s more of an alley) and two tables upstairs. Watch your head when you go up! Low ceiling on the stairs. We ordered two chicken shawarmas and two hummus & falafel plates. It took around 30 minutes to get just one of the hummus plates. There were only 2 orders in front of us (from what we saw). It took another 10 to get the shawarma wraps…be prepared to wait a while for the food or maybe order to go?! But the shawarmas were really good. The hummus and falafels weren’t very good and we wouldn’t order them again. It’s a great option for a cheap decent meal in the Medina.”
