Zen the spa

“My visit to Zen Spa was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Not only was it incredibly overpriced for what was offered, but the experience was deeply disturbing. During my hammam and massage, a staff member made inappropriate advances and then explicitly asked me for money. When I refused, they persisted by asking for a tip, which only intensified my discomfort and made me feel incredibly vulnerable throughout the rest of the session. I was so shaken and embarrassed that I couldn't even bring myself to complain to the front desk, instead having to go back to my hotel to report the incident. This was an utterly unacceptable and uncomfortable experience that I would strongly advise against.”

“We were staying in a nearby hotel and chose to attend the spa. There was a glow package advertised for 1,800 diram, including 45 min scrub, 1hr massage and 45 minute facial. We booked as a couple and received the scrub together - the same mitt was used for us both which has made us concerned it was not fresh. We were then separated for the rest of our treatments, after an hour i was told i was done, which after i questioned this as it was 1 hour massage and 1 hour facial - i had multiple people then shouting at me saying this what i received despite me going through the times. I then had to ask where my partner was twice before being told he was outside, to then find out he had been offered “additional services” and told to leave after refusing. All in all over priced, treatments not provided at times, rude staff, and inappropriate.”

“I recently visited it and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The service was far from professional, and for the high prices they charge, I expected much better. After finishing my session, I was left to find my way back on my own. I had to figure out the way to the changing room and navigate through confusing hallways just to find the exit. It felt like being stuck in a maze with no assistance from the staff. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, and overall, the experience felt chaotic rather than relaxing. If you’re looking for a high-quality, professional spa experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Definitely not worth the price.”

“Some yoga mats would be nice. Spacious gym and latest equipment. Sauna heater a little exposed and could be health and safety risk. All considered a very respectable hotel gym.”
