“Really nice place with a great atmosphere and beautiful setting, but unfortunately the experience was ruined by what seems to have been food poisoning. My friend and I were both sick and stuck in bed for almost a week after eating there. I think it’s important to mention it so other people can be cautious. Such a shame because the place itself has a lot of potential.”
“The service was beyond excellence, the atmosphere was amazing and authentic. The group were talented a variety of songs and genres played that night and the good energy was contagious we enjoyed every minute of it and Houssam the singer was very friendly and talented. the whole night was a wholesome also the magician touch was epic. Highly recommend”
“We had a great experience at L’auberge Espagnole. We ordered the grilled fish and spicy potatoes, and everything was delicious. The place is elegant, comfortable, and has a really nice atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much that we actually came back two days in a row. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a lovely dining experience!”
“My favorite place in Marrakech for great music and entertainment that actually feels local and not touristy. The main singer is amazing and the vibe is so authentic and full of energy. The managers are always on point and the servers are always on the lookout, making sure guests are taken care of. The food is great for tapas, and I just love coming here for the atmosphere and the live music.”
“I had a very disappointing experience at Auberge Espagnole in Marrakech. On Saturday night, I was refused entry by the security staff who told me the place was full. I understood and came back the next day (Sunday), but again I was denied entry — this time being told it was “reserved”. The way this was handled felt inconsistent and unprofessional. As a visitor, I expect clear communication and respectful treatment, even if entry is not possible. I ended up going to another venue nearby where the atmosphere was welcoming and customers were treated properly, which made a big difference. I knew from a review, Here, that they need tips! Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.”
“I am visiting from Canada and came here tonight (May 17 2026) with 6 local friends who are well known as regulars to the management and it did not stop them from treating us like garbage. It was truly a shocking failure in hospitality for such an expensive establishment. My wife and I came in at 9 PM when we all had a reservation at 930. They seated us in an empty restaurant for us to wait for our friends. We proceeded to order tapas and an entire bottle of wine (350 MAD) while we waited. The waiters messed up our order and brought out a dish we did not order. When we mentioned it they said it was part of our order and included. 2 minutes later the manager came over and told us it was sent out in error and took it away to trash the dish. In most fancy establishments they would have handled this differently. An hour or so later after our entire group arrived and after we ordered another 2 bottles of wine, beers, and we were finishing our orders - the management began pressuring us to order more food or told us we would have to leave? When we said we were okay and we had ordered a bunch already, they told us we would have to move from the table...and they then FORCED us to get up and move to a standing table, at the dark back corner of the restaurant and gave our table away to some other random people! We had not even finished our drinks! We left after this absolutely offended. Absolutely disgusting treatment for literally no reason. We paid a total of 1100 MAD for everything and left....which is insane for the treatment we recieved. We told the 'manager' about this experience on the way out and he truly could not care less. Be aware that this is a very poor establishment, with terrible service, overpriced for what it is, and not worth anyone's patronage. Never again and we will ensure no one we know ever visits again. 0 stars if possible.”
