“What a wonderful experience! Hassan is a great host at the main Dar. His brother Saïd is an awesome host at the camp. Ismaël who was new was really fun to chat with. He is very smart and curious and I would of loved to chat with him some more. Our guide accross the dunes, Yassin made us feel comfortable and secure in the desert. He thought us about the local wildlife and he took amazing photos! The musicians at the camp were very talented and did their best to liven up our group. I can't recommend this place enough.”

“We booked the camel tour and dinner in the desert and were able to leave our camper van parked here while on tour. Since we have a dog we were able to book the camel tour, sand riding, and dinner and have someone bring us back by 4x4 around 11:30pm. We had breakfast in the morning. It was slower service if you’re not Korean but good price 50MAD each. No hook ups but you can use the toilets and showers at the pool. Hasan was very kind and chill guy. We enjoyed our stay!”

“Literally a peaceful haven at the edge of the Sahara Desert! Lhou’s dar was absolutely stunning with beautiful details and amazing hospitality. The location is a great escape from the heat of the Desert, with sufficient air conditioning in the room. We were served by a kind and cheerful young man for breakfast and dinner, both of which were absolutely delicious with great portions. The laundry service was affordable and really quick too! The host was so friendly, warm and welcoming. He was always checking in on us and making sure we got everything we need. We can’t emphasise any further how great this stay is, from hospitality to cleanliness, the pool, great food and great people. A must must must visit place in the Merzouga Desert where you can swim in the pool while enjoying the view of the desert 😍 We didn’t take any activities at Lhou’s place as we wanted to chill, however, he offers a few activities too like camel riding and dune driving. There was construction being carried out while we were there but it didn’t bother us at all 👍🏼”

“It was such an amazing 1 night in Merzouga desert! Hassan’s service was the best I’ve experienced ever. Reservation process was convenient because he gave me prompt reply every time !! He sent a taxi for us at the airport so we didn’t have to hail a taxi at all. Even if we didn’t stay in the hotel because we arrived in the morning, he provided us 2 rooms for 5 people to take a break and shower before the tour. 1 night tour in the Sahara desert was stunning! Amazing camel riding experience and delicious & authentic & stuffing Moroccan dish after riding camel 🐪 After the lunch and break, we went on ATV tour with the beautiful view of desert :) It was extremely dynamic and exciting! I highly recommend it😊 We went to sunset viewpoint and took a sand board there. Charming and adorable guides took nice photos for us as well 📸 After seeing the sunset, we went back to the base camp and had another delicious, amazing, and authentic Moroccan cuisine for the dinner. We were super stuffed with the meal :) After dinner, they made a wonderful and impressive live performance with a camp fire ! At the base camp, we could see shining stars at the night sky. 🌌 As we were 5 people, Hassan generously gave us 2 rooms without any additional fee :) ❤️ How gentle and kind of him thank you so much !🥰 Room condition there was very good. Cosy and warm with good bathroom. After staying night and coming back to the hotel, we could use the bathroom in the room and have a breakfast as well. I was soooo touched with Hassan’s consideration. Thank you for the souvenir 👍🏻 If you are planning to visit Merzouga desert, don’t hesitate to book here. Best experience ever with Hassan. I appreciate your kindness and thank you for making us a precious memory in Morocco !”

“Hassan is such a kind and hardworking person. I’ve been traveling around the world and stayed in many accommodations, but this was by far one of the best in terms of room conditions. (Of course, don’t expect it to compare to something like a Hyatt.) One notable thing is that there are plenty of staff members here. This means they pay attention to even the smallest details. You can see them constantly cleaning and preparing to keep everything spotless. The price might seem a bit high at first, but it includes a private room, delicious and hearty breakfast and dinner, and even laundry service. When you consider everything, it actually feels like great value for the money. I originally planned to only do the tour, but I ended up staying three extra days because the comfort of this accommodation was so appealing. “Best tour ever!! I stayed for one night, including dessert tour. The staffs are super friendly and the activities were incredibly enjoyable. And above all, the foods are absolutely delicious. 😋 I came along with 5 friends, and they were all thoroughly satisfied. I would definitely recommend!!!”
