“Had a wonderful stay at Nasser Palace Suites & Spa. The hotel is newly renovated and it really shows — the rooms are modern, spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. The location is another big plus — less than a 1 km walk to the sandy dunes, where you can catch a beautiful sunrise view. It’s a peaceful and memorable spot that adds something special to the stay. The food options were decent, and the breakfast spread was very good, offering a satisfying selection to start the day. What stood out most was the level of care from management. Feedback was shared directly with the owner during the stay, and not only was it taken seriously, but the owner followed up with proof that the matter had been addressed. That kind of responsiveness and commitment to guest experience is rare and deserves recognition. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great hospitality, comfortable accommodations, a convenient location, and management that clearly cares about maintaining high standards. I’d happily recommend Nasser Palace Suites & Spa and would return again.”
“This hotel and the staff far past my expectation. The rooms in the suites are absolutely beautiful, very clean the amenities and the views are to die for. I wish that we would’ve stayed here for a week. I can only imagine how much better it’s going to get when the spot itself is open. There was a great selection of On menu. But the buffet seemed like it catered a little too much to tourist taste and not as local and authentic. This is not a criticism as the food was still very good. As much as the Journey is difficult to get to the Sahara. This place is absolutely worth it.”
“Bad experience. After three years staying at the Xaluca Tombouctou, we changed hotels because it's new and they're understaffed. In our room, N55, there were two half-dead cockroaches, and they charged us 600 Dirhams to wash two bags of laundry—outrageous! So, for one of the most expensive hotels in Merzouga, we had a very bad experience. Next year we'll return to the Xaluca Tombouctou. On a positive note, the young man in the cafeteria was very friendly and attentive.”
“Beautiful hotel, amazing view, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and welcoming people. We had the best experience for our trip to the desert.”
