“The eve. of 03/24/2026: the meals are okay. The prices are (as in other similar places in Morocco) not cheap at all, to say the least. With one exception, the staff is quite polite and helpful..but (and it is a big exception) the bouncer is misplaced there: As soon as the time was 00:50 a.m., he walked by our table and gave us the hint to "get going". It was time to leave even though we should have been notified by THE WAITER, which is his job actually and in due time -- that's, 30 min. before closing up at least. Instead, we had been served drinks 20 min. before 1 a.m. Around 1 a.m., the bouncer walked by again, clapping his hands and making his point clear. His manners were very assertive to my taste and surely impolite: he said, "Guys it's time". When we left the bistro-bar, I told him (literally), "I have feedback to your boss: Nothing personal here, however guests should be notifie at least 30 min. before closing up instead of 'dropping by' at our table when the time is due, clapping your hands (which doesn't suit to the fairly nice restaurant)." Then we walked out of the restaurant coz I wasn't interested in arguing. The bouncer didn't resist the temptation of talking back, I guess, and said (literally) when we were already five meters away from the restaurant, "Why didn't you tell me that when you were still in the restaurant. This show that you have some 'problems'". What he meant in plain words: How cowardly of you to tell me that while living the restaurant. If you did tell me that while you were still sitting in the restaurant, I 'd have taught you a lesson..you.. Many thanks to the waiter though. He was very nice.”
