“For our last night in Sofia, we chose this place for an early dinner based on their excellent Google reviews. We were so glad to have found it. The owner, Niko, helped us whittle down from the many dishes that sounded delicious. Ultimately, we had the “Bulgarian caprese” salad, the fried meatballs, and the chicken with truffle. We also ordered a glass of the house red and house white wine, both of which were very nice. The three dishes we ordered were outstanding. So flavorful, and beautifully presented. Niko, his lovely wife (whose name I did not get), and the chef, Angel, all spent some time chatting with us about the dishes and about Sofia. You can really feel the love in this place. It was the perfect send-off for us in Sofia. When you’re done, head across the street to the bar in the park for an after-dinner drink, and you have a perfect Sofia evening. Вкусмихнисе is a gem—we hope to come back some day!”

We were lucky to find this place. The musaka is amazing. Even though we were only in Sofia for a week, we went back because of the musaka. The cake was excellent as well. Everything is homemade, the owners are very nice and welcoming. Ideal place for a quick tasty lunch. 100% recommended!
