“Located in the Old Medina of Rabat, it is very near to the old market and Souks. There are no roads in and around it for taxis. You will have to reach it by foot, tuk tuk or bicycle/motorbike/escooter. Rooms are nice and they have many options. My only criticism is the lack of hot water for showering. You will get about 20 secs of hot water, after that good luck to you. I would happily stay here again.”
“One of the most horrible accomodations in 30+ years of travel. The "6-beds appartement" was exactly that: 6 beds, not a single chair, no closets, no table. Bathroom was a handwash sink with one faucet (cold water only), a flickering light fixture straight above the shower tub whilst the shower head was at the other side of the bathroom!! Kitchen was filthy, gross, and totaly unusable. Everything was dilapidated and dirty. Street was very noisy till late at night. Absolute scam, cannot believe it was not allready kicked off that well-known booking site. To be avoided at all cost.”
“This place made us feel as if we were at home. The host was very friendly, professional, and kind. Really appreciated was a breakfast made by amazing women, which made the day more beautiful. Looking forward to come back next time!”
“Great location right in the heart of the medina, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff were friendly, with excellent communication, and the room and bathroom were clean. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and I would definitely recommend it. However, the shower head was leaking, which could be easily fixed or replaced.”
“Good budget option. The riad looks nice and the location is very convenient, although cleanliness could be significantly improved. The staff was helpful despite being a bit dry. My main complaint is that they stayed chatting and laughing past midnight, and given that all rooms face the courtyard and the doors don't really isolate, it was very noisy at night. I read many reviews about excellent breakfast while it is just the regular breakfast you can have everywhere.”
“We booked two nights on booking.com but left after one. In winter, Morocco probably doesn’t get much colder than it was the night we stayed- 35 degrees F. The open windows were a big problem and waking in the morning was freezing! Going to the shower was a big disappointment - the hose had been pulled out and the water flowed like a garden hose. With daily housekeeping, this was obviously a choice to leave unrepaired and so we felt it was a breach of contract- they listed having bathroom with shower. We knew the riad was booked and our only option was to leave. We haven’t tried a refund yet. If you need warmth and shower, choose another place!”
