“This restaurant in Rabat deserves every word of praise. I had the pleasure of tasting their beans, and I can honestly say they were the best beans I have ever had in the city full of flavor, and care you can feel the passion that goes into cooking here. The warmth and hospitality of the staff made the experience even more special. It’s rare to find a place where the food touches your heart as much as it satisfies your taste buds. This restaurant experiencing genuine Moroccan culinary magic. I wholeheartedly give them a five-star review they truly deserve it.”
“Excellent food. I tried the tajine and sardine which was very tasty and thick in the cook. Salad was great. Their homemade chilli was great. Owner was chatty and informative and kept us comfortable. Took the time to explain dishes I asked. Secretly charged us extra 10mad in the bill but was ok with it, as it was over of the better places to dine and do was a tip.
“The best food I had in Morocco! I’ve been to Marrakech, Essaouira, Merzouga, Fés and the food wasn’t doing it for me. Luckily I stumbled into this gem. Everything was perfect - from the loveliest owner to the super fast serving and ofc the quality of the food! I ordered lentils, white beans and bakkoula and it all was divine. I love everything bean-y and they nailed their legumes… so flavorful, almost creamy and nice cumin in the lentils. Also please as for the housemade chili paste if you like it spicy. Another guest assured me this is the best place to get authentic Moroccan food in all of the country. And all of this for only 48 MAD. I truly hope to be back here someday and if you come to Rabat looking for a no-frills easy dinner or lunch, please go here!”
“We had the best and one of the cheapest chicken tajine that we have had in this trip to Morocco. The chicken was tender and the sauce was very flavourful. Next to the flavor, the price is lower than average you would pay in the medina of Rabat. The owner also gave us the homemade harissa which was very tasty.”
“We are from South East Asia & it's our first visit to Morocco. Saw this place on Google & decided to try it out. We had the Bakkoula salad, Chicken Rfissa & Oxtail Tanjia. The staff were really friendly to us. Amazing experience! 👍👍👍”
“Had the most delicious, fresh fish - special of the day. And after an amazing meal, we ordered the traditional Moroccan mint tea. This was the best mint tea we’ve had in Morocco so far. The owner was so lovely, friendly and very genuine. Dal L’Walida is definitely a local secret in Rabat. It will always be a go to.”
