“Tried Yamal Acham and left impressed. Fresh tabbouleh with balanced lemon and herbs, light and clean. Chicken shawarma was juicy, well seasoned, and paired perfectly with creamy hummus. Portions are fair and flavors feel authentic. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere make it a solid spot in Rabat. English speakers…”
“I visited Yamal Acham in (Agdal-Rabat) twice on two different days to make sure my opinion was fair and consistent. Unfortunately, the grilled dishes did not reflect the quality I usually associate with authentic Syrian cuisine. The kebab was noticeably dry, and the grilled chicken pieces were not professionally prepared. Considering the overall quality, I also found the prices to be on the high side. The restaurant itself is pleasant, but the dark colors of the walls and tables create an atmosphere that feels older than it should. The walls would also benefit from cleaning and some refurbishment to give the place a fresher appearance. On the positive side, the staff were polite, welcoming, and pleasant throughout both visits. I genuinely hope the restaurant continues to improve because competition in Rabat is growing, and that ultimately benefits both restaurants and customers. For now, however, I think I will be looking for better alternatives.
“Very nice decoration, traditional and colorful The prices are affordable. When it comes to the cuisine the main fishes are fine while the side dishes are not that good, which is the case in most Syrian restaurants. It was very busy, since there was a football game. The service was okay, not too slow but not prompt, we had to wait 15mins for dessert. Ideal for families, and accessible by wheelchair.”
“A very good place to eat, the food was very delicious 😋, and the staff was very friendly and kind specially the server Nisrine 🤍👍”
“For a large group, this was a fantastic experience. We got the mixed meal. It came with 12 or so appetizers and 8 main dishes that were adjusted in size for the number of people in our party. It had the classic dips from Syrian and Middle Eastern cuisine. There were several falling-off-the-bone meat dishes. Fresh made smoothies. Just a wonderful experience.”
“Please like and follow. Let's go straight into the service. It seems the staff i.e. servers do not like each other and are not willing to help each other, which means the customer will be ignored and suffer. The food is a total failure. We ordered chicken and beef shawarma plate and shish tawook plate, famous and baba ghanouj. We also ordered Moroccan mint tea with no sugar. Instead, we received a tea that was sweetened with lots of sugar, which we returned. The baba ghanouj was very tasty. But that was the only delicious plate. The mixed shawarma were over spice by pepper and lumen that it was inedible. The tour paste was nothing but mayonnaise, and the salad Russe was lots of mayonnaise and a few cuts of cabbage. The famous was plain; missing lemon, salt, and pepper. The service was slow, and the place was loud with loud songs. I do not recommend this place. .”
