“A great experience; the hosts are generous, the food is amazing, the rooms are done with great attention to details and to top it off the view overlooking the lake is breathtaking :) |I stayed there three days, we were a group of twenty, we had the chance to meet some of the locals who were very helpful in showing us the best spot to take a swim, we took walks and relaxed on the veranda looking over the lake and enjoyed yummy healthy tajines and Moroccan tea.”

“Except the water pumps running 24/7 (at least sounds like it), the place is peaceful and the landscape is really beautiful. You can go for a hike with a guide from the lodge, and also do some kayaking. Rooms are clean and comfortable (no wifi or tv which was perfect for me). The food is really good. Fresh products, with some, growing in the huge garden. Prices are a bit high for the place and the food. Would definitely recommend”

“We had a wonderful stay at SAFA Boulaoune, the hosts are welcoming, professional and very helpful, they proposed different activities on site (hiking with a local guide, bicycle tours, kayaking depending on weather conditions) We really enjoyed the food, delicious local recipes, a great immersion in Moroccan culture. Fruits & vegetables are from local bio harvest & culture. Make sure to not miss the breakfast, a pure pleasure. Room was clean and comfortable, calm atmosphere and very relaxing. The view from our room was breathtaking. The hike in the area was perfect, near the river. I definitely recommend !”

“We had an amazing stay with a group of our friends over the weekend. The rooms were comfortable and this is one of few hotels we’ve stayed at in Morocco that actually had comfortable mattresses and pillows. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group, rearranging beds for children and babies, making sure we had everything we needed, and most of all, accommodating food allergies and celiac disease. And the food was incredible. All of the meals were excellent! It was some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. The location was a great place for the kids to explore nature and run around, a great escape from the big city. The staff was truly amazing and we will definitely return.”
