“The hotel is set in a beautiful, authentic location with greenery and a small river nearby, and the food was good. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The service was extremely poor. Basic amenities were missing—there were unlabeled bottles in the bathroom (no indication of shampoo or shower gel) and no soap at all. Meal service was unacceptably slow. Dinner took over two hours, and breakfast was even worse. Despite clearly informing staff that we were in a hurry, we still waited more than an hour for a simple omelette and had to remind them multiple times, only to be largely ignored. There was also no drinking water provided in the room. At dinner, we were charged 20 MAD per bottle, including for water already placed on the table, which felt unreasonable. Overall, while the setting is nice and the food is decent, the service is far below acceptable standards and seriously undermines the experience.”

“A wonderful Dar tucked in the mountains. Travel down a winding dirt road and arrive at a little jewel of a spot - the rooms are spacious and beautiful, the architecture is quirky and lovely. The restaurant plays blues music and serves a unique and extremely tasty version of Moroccan fusion food. Finally, the staff are friendly and really committed to making your stay pleasant. Highly recommended.”

“This place is a gem!!! We are here at the moment. I was not sure what to expect before we got here, and I typically do not write reviews, but this place deserves all the compliments possible! The interior is so beautiful it feels like a little medieval castle, so cozy and comfortable. The staff is very sweet and friendly. But the biggest surprise was a Michelin level dinner, this was the best food we had not only in Morocco but anywhere in a long time, this was a truly amazing experience. I wish we stayed more than one night!”

“Good location. Very nice hotel with comfortable beds and hot shower. We stayed here in December 2025 and room was warm with radiators working. Good but a bit overpriced food. Nice dining area.”

“We did not know what to think. It is way back in the mountains- I thought- we will not have wifi, outlets to charge are gear etc. and wow! Wifi exceptional.m, outlets galore, good fantastic- ambience - off the charts! Temp in rooms perfect. We only booked one night- would love to have stayed at least one more.”

“The hotel is authentic and located in a beautiful place with lots of beards and a small river nearby. The service was bad however - there was no/very tiny stream of water in the shower, maybe because our room was on the top floor, but taking a shower turned out to be a very unpleasant adventure - we were in a hurry in the morning, because our driver was waiting for us, and we informed personnel about it. Still, we had to wait 1 hour for omelette, and seemed we were ignored despite reminding them several times. The service during the dinner was slow as well, it took us 2 hours to eat - there is no drinking water in the room at all, we ordered water during the dinner and were charger 20 mad for bottle”
