“I had an amazing experience staying at Maison Amazigh, me and my boyfriend stayed 1 night as part of a Merzouga desert roadtrip. They had a nice cool pool, and it was the nicest and most happy family helping us with everything we could ever need. I really wished we could have stayed longer and the food was very good.|And to top it all off, I forgot my makeup bag at the hotel and they really went out of their way to bring it all the way to a petrol station, where our tour guide/driver (Hassan was also amazing) picked it up and gave it to me. I felt spoiled, I think everyone should visit this great location and support the best Berber family out there!|- Anna & Bas”
“We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s a traditional place and truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful and well-maintained everything was. The facilities were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with great attention to detail. The shows were entertaining, the food was excellent, and everything felt perfectly organized. The entire family who runs the place is absolutely lovely, always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Overall, it was a perfect experience. We would definitely love to come back!”
“We were here as a group for only one night. The food was delicious, the staff is so nice and the rhythm of the music show was magical. I am planning my next trip for the summer and I would stop here for at least three days, to explore the surroundings. There is beautiful nature around for walks and relaxation🏜️”
“We stayed at Maison Amazig, and it was a wonderful experience! The dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, showcasing authentic Moroccan flavors that we truly enjoyed. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The highlight of our stay was the traditional show, featuring local music and dance, which added a magical touch to the evening. The setting of the guesthouse is stunning, surrounded by beautiful views of the valley and mountains, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, making it a great place to stay while exploring the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and memorable experience in the heart of Morocco!”
“I have spent one of the best stays in Morocco with this Berber family. They are a very adorable and attentive family with their guests. The food totally local and delicious. The comfortable, clean room, and in general the whole house full of details of the Berber culture. a true cultural immersion. Also at night I was able to enjoy an entertainment show by the family that was to my complete liking. At night, the calm in this place is unique and the views at sunrise and sunset are wonderful. I definitely recommend them 100%. I think it is worth spending more than one day here.”
“One of the most special places I have ever stayed. The terrace overlooking the valley is perfect for stargazing or reading in the morning. My room was spacious and clean, with cool evening breezes coming in from the window. The wifi was stable and there as AC (although there was no need for it, even in July). Moha and the rest of the staff were incredibly generous, kind, and friendly. The staff is multilingual, we had several lovely conversations. Breakfast and dinner were both incredibly delicious. The area around the hotel is beautiful, the street is lined with cedar, flowers, fig and olive trees, pomegranate trees. My favorite moments in Morocco were perhaps my long walks near the hotel seeing the sun rise and sun set in the mountains. ||I would drive out to this area just to stay at this hotel and take sunset walks. Thank you to each of the staff who welcomed me!”
