“It is an ibis hotel not that fancy But it's good It has swimming pool nice rooms coffee The food was okay not that good The staff are friendly”
“Employees are doing their best. Rooms need a face lift, bathrooms are in bad condition, towels were in very bad condition. Breakfast ok”
“I needed a hotel for the night and the Senator was very close to the airport. Rooms are clean and bed is decent enough for a good nights sleep. Cons: There was construction/hammering of some sort at around 11:45PM either below or above my room. It went on for about 20 mins. When I got up and got dressed to complain, it stopped. My room was slightly infested with mosquitos which is weird because I’ve been in Morocco for 14 days and have not encountered 1 mosquito. I spent a good part of my night trying to kill them because who likes hearing mosquitoes fly by your ear when you’re sleeping. My sink didn’t drain water and the shower was lukewarm at best. In the morning, I asked for a taxi to the airport and when he showed up, I was surprised that it was a shared taxi. Upon drop off, he tried to charge me 100 dh for 3.6km which is roughly 2.2 miles. I took a taxi from the tangier train station to my hotel (2.7 km or roughly 1.6 miles) and was only charged 5 dh. Be careful and don’t let yourself get scammed or make sure to ask for the price before confirming your taxi.”
“I didn't expect much... But I've to say that I have been surprised how nice and professional the staff. And how careful they work. Very positive feeling.”
“TL;DR: Spend an extra €25 Euro and get another hotel. Unfortunately, there is not much good to say about the rooms or the hotel. First there is distinctly strange smell, perhaps mildew, that is one the first floor. My first room was above the pool and since the pool is open to the public until 6pm, the room was very noisy. The air conditioning also did not work. I requested to move rooms and the manager obliged; but the new room was not without issues. First the windows in the all the rooms are kept open and the A/C off. As a result there were bug larvae on the window curtains (see picture), there was no shower head (see picture), and the air conditioning barely worked. There were bugs in the room which covered me in bites. Since I had a flight in the morning I talked to the front desk about getting a driver and they quoted me 150 diram (approximately €15). The 3km distance should only be 15-25 diram, at most. Reading some of the other reviews it seems the hotel has a deal with the drivers fleecing customers. Use inDrive instead for a ride to the airport (or just walk). I chose this place because I was just staying for a few hours before my early morning flight and it was cheap. I regret my decision. Hopefully you do not make the same mistake.”
“We arrived around 5pm but our rooms weren’t ready yet. The man on the front desk was very nice and apologised. He offered us water and tea while we waited. We waited over 1 hour and then he said the rooms were ready. We are 2 adults and 2 children. There was no family room so we needed 2 rooms. We went to the rooms and they were both occupied. Someone was in the shower. Luckily they didn’t come out 🫣. We went back down and then got new rooms. The air conditioning was broken in the hotel so it was hot. I think they open the pool to the public on weekends as it was rammed until 6pm when the locals all vacated. The rooms are pretty run down. It’s expensive but close to the airport for early morning flights. The transfer to the airport only took 3 minutes and cost €15”
