“My experience at Hotel Star Appart in Tangier was very disappointing. The staff and the owner were not professional and acted hypocritically. I had mistakenly booked for one adult instead of two, but the reception staff didn’t notice and allowed me to check in, even giving me a receipt for my stay in a two-bedroom apartment. Out of goodwill, I told them they could give me just a one-bedroom unit and resell the larger one, and the receptionist appreciated that gesture. However, when I returned later, the manager and owner suddenly demanded I pay an additional 200 MAD for the extra person. I tried to explain that it was a simple booking mistake and offered to cancel, but they refused and insisted I must pay. After long and unpleasant discussions, I ended up paying 130 MAD just to end the argument. I felt scammed and disrespected. Instead of appreciating my honesty and helpfulness, they treated me unfairly. I don’t recommend this hotel — they lack professionalism, integrity, and respect for their guests.”

“I stayed at Hôtel Appart Star in Tangier two weeks ago, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I would rate this hotel as one star. We booked a three-bedroom apartment with a living room, but the rooms had no air conditioning, and there was only one bathroom for all three rooms. The water from the bathroom leaked into the living area, and the smell in the rooms was unpleasant. The beds were extremely dirty, and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable, especially since it was very hot outside and the rooms had no cooling. Street noise was also very noticeable inside the apartment. Additionally, the receptionist did not inform us in advance about the lack of air conditioning and required full payment upfront. Due to all these issues, I will definitely not try this hotel again.”

“It was actually a very good experience , good service , clean rooms , 'bout the location it was a bit noisy but still good , there's a good view , I watched the sunrise in my room and it was awesome !!! also the price is perfect !!! We found everything we wanted in this hotel , big , clean , parking garage , large bedrooms , balcony , and swimming pool in the terrasse, thank u !!!”

“I stayed here at my arrival in Morocco with my husband and also when we left. When we arrived we stayed for 2 days but we had a very dusty room which gave me allergies. We had to sleep with the windows open sadly enough. but upon return I gave them feedback telling them that last time my room wasn't that best and they really outdid themselves the next time! We had a sparkling room where I could finally sleep in peace without allergies! They were also the friendliest and most helpful workers there. Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay here in Tanger. The hotel is close to my family so next time we will defenitly be visiting here again.”
