“The employees here were very weird. The wanted to go out to the dunes and watch the stars with my friend and I (two 20 yr old girls). We said no as we felt more comfortable staying in the camp and talking with our drivers that were part of a separate agency. The employees of the camp then approached us and started yelling at our drivers and trying to start a physical fight because they were mad that we chose not to go with them. The whole thing was very uncomfortable for us, but we were lucky that the drivers were kind and prioritized our safety.”
“We spontaneously spent a night here, and as we traveled ourselves by car. We were welcomed warmly by Said, Abdul Hak and the team, and took a walk on our own avoiding the typical tourist Camel trip, which was lovely with great Atlas Mountain View’s. However, the camp is quite close to two main roads and other camps, and the desert here is not very clean (people leave trash everywhere) and rather more rubble than sand dunes. Definitely a good starter experience for people who have never been to the desert, including the Berber songs around the fire, but not quite as romantic and authentic as one might expect. The team is very kind and service-oriented, and clearly making efforts to give visitors an albeit rather touristic impression of Berber life.”
“Do not expect a full shower and flushing toilet. This is a basic camp (laddle shower) but the men here do everything to make your stay as comfortable as they can. This is all about the experience. Abdul and Ismail were great with us. The supper was amazing! Definitely something to put on your 'to do' list while in Morocco. The desert walk is extremely hot and taxing; shady areas are also hard to come by. I suggest you do not undertake this unless you are very fit. The tents are spacious but hot so we left our door open at night, no nightly critter visit (they hardly ever come near the camp).”
“Best experience!!! Excellent food, big clean tent with bathroom, nice camel, relaxing αtmosphere, attentive people. Zagora luxury desert camp is highly recommendable...bravo!”
“Abdou service was excellent, he’s very attentive, hands on & extremely courteous. We had so much fun. The dinner & breakfast was great. We definitely recommend.”
“We can say just PERFECT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to try a paradise go in the Oasi SARA AND LUCA”
