“Amazing bivouacs, very lovely and calm place”
“When we booked with karem sahara bivouac this is where you stay. It's about 15 minutes away from zagora. You can drive your car all the way to the camp site. The site has two outdoor toilets with real toilet bowls and two showers. It was clean and did the job. It is important to bring water or drinks. They do not sell liquids and it is very hot so make sure to purchase at least 2 liters of water per person per night. The hot wind really dries up your mouth amd we were really thirsty. I also suggest you reserve your supper ahead of time. It was 90 dh per person but was well worth it. They serve you a plate of olives tomatos and oranges as an entre. Then its a chicken tagine which was excellent. For dessert it was fruits. They also serve bread and bottled water. Karim sahara also offered us a chance to ride camels. That was 110dh and it was really fun. The only thing is that was 30 minutes away. So i suggest you donthe camel ride first before going to camp like we did. The two host actually stay the night in the camp as well. So we felt safe. The night sky was unbelievable... The best night of my life. The next morning we left at 9ish. We gave the two host a tip when we left. Tips are expected so beware that if you dont tip. Indeed some people complain that zagora has no desert... Its true that the sahara is about 1 hr away and the same karem sahara is missleading. But we were very happy with our experience. The dunes where the camp is are natural.”
“Although the place and the environment are nice, the tends are satisfying and the food acceptable.. the staff is horrible, they seem to have prepared the perfect tourist trap, and all the time they seem to be annoyed to have people around. They kick you out as quick as they can in the morning and if you want to have more than one coffee or even take more than one napkin during dinner they won't let you. Honestly they need to treat people better and not like a walking ATM.”
“The treatment and service by the host and the rest of the team have been spectacular. The stay in the hostel and the management of the desert excursion and overnight in the camp are perfect. Finally, Samir has made us feel at home. We recommend it faithfully, inshallah!”
“An incredible experience, through and through. The most beautiful night sky and sunrise, excelent food and fun music. Just be prepared for some pain in the butt, because riding the camels hurts a little.”
“Very nice experience but the road is not worth it. Good food and nice staff. The rooms are very clean for a desert experience. It is nice to experience it once!”
