Riad Les Jardins De Bounou

“We were searching for a place to stay near the desert after visiting three places that did not convince us. We finally found our way to the Riad Les Jardins De Bounou: a little oasis of peace at the gates of the desert. The riad offers a few rooms with private bathrooms and an intimate atmosphere. Houssine, the owner of this place, welcomed us and provided a sense of calm as well as valuable advice when we asked for it. He was extremely helpful and offered us excellent tips, which proved to be very useful and precious. He is a true tourism professional and organised a desert trip for us after we requested one; it was a perfect escape and superbly arranged. Houssine is also an excellent cook; the dinner served was among the best we had in Morocco. One reason for this might be the careful selection of ingredients: the finest dates of the region (which we also bought and are delicious), and the best spices from his contacts, ground on the spot for maximum flavour. The final ingredient that makes his food so special might just be a bit of his heart, because we could really sense that Houssine cared and wanted us to have the best possible experience, which we certainly did. We stayed two nights instead of one and would have loved to stay longer… If you are looking for a place to come down after the agitation of the cities; this might be the perfect place for you to stay and you won't regret it. “Les Jardins de Bounou is my favorite places to stay whenever I want to visit the Sahara Desert. It's the only place I felt home because of the great stuff they have, they always ready to go out of their way to make your stay as great as they can, the place itself is a paradise in the middle of the valley, accessible by car, about only 5 min from the national road. The rooms are cozy and comfortable decorated In traditional way, Breakfast and Meals are so delicious. Definitely I will come back to this place”

“Hi everyone, we just come back from a lovely stay in the beautiful Riad Les Jardins de Bounou located just in the door of the Sahara desert. It was a very nice, quiet and peaceful hotel, just in the middle of a oasis with a lot of palm trees around. The staff were so friendly and nice, the rooms are pretty and clean and the food just number one. It was great experience, thank you Houssine For your hospitality and your organisation”

“This place is just amazing. It’s quiet, calm and has such a nice atmosphere. The guesthouse is built by the owner himself and you can really see and feel the authentic love that is put into. The people are so nice and welcoming, they have a really nice heart which makes you feel so grounded in this place. You can aswell do tours to the dunes in chigaga with a 4x4 and stay in a campsite for the night with dinner and breakfast, which I can highly recommend. It’s such a nice experience accompanied by one of the nicest people you have ever met. I’m definitely gonna come back one day for a retreat, I’m looking forward, inshalla🙏”
