“The food is very good, and I especially love their soup. The service is excellent as well. I've been served several times by one of their servers, who is always professional, friendly, and attentive. Overall, it's a great place to eat. My only reservation is that the music can be a bit too loud at times.”
“We stay there for 3 days with friends and had a great moment. The Riad is very well situate and you can visit the city easly by foot. Service is very helpful, kind and nice. Rooms have a perfect size and are well furnished, beds very comfy. Bathroom products too are lovely. La Fuga restaurant is very good and tasty. One little comment, some fruits and yoghurt will be appreciate for Breakfast. Thank you to all the team for your welcome and one more special for Ilham. Elena”
“We stayed two nights at Dar Chams Tanja and honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to experience the kasbah and medina area of Tangier. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was wonderful. Ilham kindly checked us in an hour early since we arrived sooner than expected, and we were welcomed with delicious Moroccan tea served in a beautiful silver teapot. The hotel perfectly balances traditional Moroccan charm with modern comfort. We stayed in the junior suite, which was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, with a small lounge area and lovely shuttered windows that added so much character to the room. Everything was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Noise really wasn’t an issue for us. Occasionally you could hear children playing or people talking outside, but never for long, and overall it felt peaceful. Honestly, when staying in a kasbah area, a little bit of life and noise is part of the experience — people live there too, and that’s part of the charm. On our last day, Mourad helped arrange a taxi for us to the Tangier train station, and everything went smoothly. The taxi arrived promptly with no delays at all. He even walked us down carrying my bag and gave us helpful travel suggestions for other places to visit in Morocco, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, we had a genuinely lovely stay. The restaurant above the hotel was also a highlight — incredible pastries, a beautiful rooftop terrace, and the perfect spot to relax in the sun with drinks and food overlooking the city.”
“The hotel is very pretty. However, that’s where the positive ends. We arrived with guests who were all elderly, only to find that the elevator was out of service. As with many places in historic centers, the stairs were not very friendly to navigate. They were very narrow and quite steep. Also, this is the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. We asked for a change of location because our first room was connected directly to the stairs that led to and from the rooftop bar/restaurant. It sounded and felt like a constant troop of elephants tromping outside our room. However, after changing rooms we realized we were directly below the rooftop dining room and all we heard until 11pm was the sound of chairs screeching incessantly above us. It was unbearable!. On top of that, there was a sizable gap under the doors and the constant chatter from other clients going about their business in the hallways was also terrible. Lastly, there were no lamps on the night stands, so you either had full on, glaring ceiling lights or the room was pitch black. I would not recommend.”
“Hi , the hotel rooms were amazingly designed. Super luxury. Hi quality detailed materials . BUT , We didn't sleep , there was a lot of noise from the neighbors kids all night . The hotel should negotiate peace with neighbors. The roof terrace , was like a pub club..noisy music . It should play soft local music to enjoy the ambiance of the sea and blue sky . The reception staff were very helpful and supportive.”
“The place is beautiful, the waiter was very friendly and professional, and the food was delicious. However, I tried several juices and all of them tasted worse than expected, especially the red fruit juice. I suspect the fruits may not have been fresh. I also ordered a mung juice, but when I tasted it, it only had the flavor of orange juice, and the taste was not good. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he told me that it was a mix of orange juice and mung. However, I could not taste the mung at all.”
