“After traveling through Morocco for a week and staying in many different places, unfortunately, this was the weakest experience of our trip. Our stay started with communication issues as the staff didn't speak English. While one gentleman eventually arrived who could communicate with us and the staff tried to be nice, the overall conditions were poor. It was extremely cold inside the building and there was no heating in the room at all and the windows and mirrors were dirty. The breakfast was another major disappointment. We struggled to even agree on a time; we wanted 8:00 AM, settled for 8:15 AM, and even then, we were kept waiting. When the food finally arrived, everything was served cold. Given the other wonderful accommodations we found in Morocco, this place simply didn't measure up.”
“Everything was really good. The room was great, The food was excellent, The awner was excellent too !! Thank you very much ;)”
“Wow, what an amazing place, the location is extraordinary. We had a highly cozy room with a pretty comfortable bed that helped us recovering from our journey. Thank you Jamal, it was a real pleasure for us, you are a congenial host. My highlight of the stay: although we came at night and didn't see that much of the surrounding in the first place, we could stargaze on the terrace while reading a good book, that was quite perfect. And the morning view is even more unrivaled.”
“We had no problem to find the place. From Google map, it’s accurate, and in the end, if the road looks a bit strange, just follow the signs you will find it :) Room: we had a standard room, without any view (what we booked), so nothing to say about it! The bathroom was very damp, we had to leave the door open… Depending on the other guests, there may be noise in the evening/at night and in the morning: dogs were barking outside, people were talking quite loudly downstairs and in the corridor. The room is therefore not at all isolated from noise… Service: the waiter was really nice and friendly, even if sometimes we had to explain several times what we wanted (their French and English weren't good enough). The breakfast was good. Keep in mind: if you want a little more bread, it will add a cost to the final bill... (first time we had this experience in Morocco…). The prices are pretty expensive compared to the city! So if you look for a nice deal price/quality, don’t hesitate to visit the city, there are plenty of restaurants where the food is delicious and way cheaper! ;) Location: outside the city, really nice if you like to walk/hike in the areas :)”
“I spent two nights at this lovely auberge with a friend, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The auberge is located near the provincial road from Ifrane to Azrou. We walked about 30 minutes on a scenic and safe trail through a small village to get there — a peaceful way to start the stay. The area around the auberge is calm and relaxing, surrounded by nature. All you hear are the sounds of birds and animals, which makes it the perfect spot to disconnect. We even went for a small, easy-level hike in the nearby Cèdre Gouraud forest, which was absolutely beautiful. Our room was cozy, warm, and very clean. It had a Smart TV with Wi-Fi, hot water in the shower, an open shelf for clothes, and a view of the mountains and the backyard. The bed sheets were spotless and decorated with care, which added a nice traditional touch. There’s also a cozy shared living room where we ate and relaxed. The terrace is spacious and perfect for enjoying the sun during the day. The whole place is very well maintained and welcoming. The food was good. Breakfast was delicious, with Moroccan soup, eggs, msemen, and a variety of spreads. We tried the chicken tajine and beef couscous for lunch, and Harira and a local soup for dinner — everything tasted homemade and nice. The food menu is well-priced, especially considering the quality and freshness of the meals. The hospitality really stood out. Jamal, the owner, was kind and helpful from our first call to our departure. He even offered us a free ride to Azrou when we left. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Overall, this is a great spot to relax, enjoy nature, and experience warm Moroccan hospitality. Highly recommended!”
“Had a great experience with the nicest and most helpful host, you can imagine! I did not miss anything while staying for 2 nights: great food (I recommend the fish!), a warm bed / shower & a comfortable fireplace for the evening. The owner even helped my with my further bus travels. Would definitely stay here again! 10/10⭐️”
