“This was my second time eating here and the food only got better! We had takoyaki, chicken, tuna and sardines as well as some sushi. I've never been to Japan, but this is what I imagine authentic Japanese food to be like. The staff are very welcoming and speak enough English to communicate well. Can't wait to come to Chefchaouen again to eat here!”
“Really enjoyed my meal at Azora in Chefchaouen. I had the fish with rice in katsu sauce and miso soup, with beans and pickled cucumber on the side. Everything was fresh and flavourful. They also served tea and some matcha ice at the end. Wholesome Japanese food in Morocco, definitely worth a stop.”
“Three of us visited for the first time and ordered the Takoyaki and Chicken Katsu. We didn’t expect such delicious and authentic Japanese cuisine. The staff and atmosphere were very friendly, and we will definitely recommend this restaurant. Space is limited and you may need to wait a bit while the chefs prepare the food, so it might not be the best choice if you’re in a hurry—but it’s perfect if you can relax and enjoy the experience.”
“I had my very first Japanese food experience here and it was absolutely unforgettable. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and took the time to make us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. You can really feel the care and passion behind every dish. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, which made the whole experience even more special. If you are in Chefchaouen and want to try Japanese cuisine, I highly recommend this place. Thank you for such a wonderful memory. I will definitely come back.”
“I was so fortunate to stumble upon this restaurant when I was starting to get tired of foreign food during my long trip. The food was just as delicious as anything I'd find in Japan, and the owner was a wonderful person. The salad, in particular, was fresh and paired perfectly with the dressing, and the miso soup was also very flavorful. I hope this restaurant continues to operate for a long time so that I can visit it again when I return to Morocco.”
“It was such a treat to find delicious Japanese food here in Morocco! Everything was fresh and top quality. We all had the salmon bowls and shared the takoyaki, it was super yummy. The matcha ice dessert was another standout. The owner was also charming and very hospitable. Do not miss it!”
