“An unforgettable stay at Palais Ommeyad Suites & Spa in Fes. The King Suite was simply perfect—spacious, elegant, and designed with exceptional attention to detail. The level of hospitality throughout our stay was truly high-end, making us feel welcomed and cared for at every moment. Dinner at the restaurant was a highlight. We ordered the Fassi couscous and the lamb tajine with prunes—both were outstanding. The couscous was honestly the best I’ve tried in Morocco, perfectly balanced and full of authentic flavor. The lamb tajine was incredibly tender, juicy, and rich in taste. A special thank you to Chef Saeida for such a memorable culinary experience, and to Maitre Adib and Maitre Youssef for their impeccable service and professionalism. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and authentic experience in Fes.”

“This hotel is between cemeteries and a construction site. It’s not an area where you can safely walk out at night and there is very little nearby. Rooms are a good size, but as noted by others, it’s tired and in need of updating.”

“The hotel while charming is old and tired. It needs to be renovated. My bathroom smelled like sewage, there was barely any water coming from the sink, the hot water took over 5 minutes to get warm. The telephone to reach the front desk does not work. The room they gave me has steps. Very dangerous in the middle of the night. Asked for another room…they said NO, full??? Typical breakfast… could have had more variety. Nice breakfast staff. Dinner was nice. The construction sight next to the hotel was a huge turnoff. So much dust. There are far better hotels in Fez.”

“Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We arrived at the property around 7:00 pm and completed the check-in. The rooms were very cold with no adequate heating, and one of the beds was not made, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. The building felt empty and uncomfortable, and it was clear that we could not stay under these conditions. We spoke directly with the reception, explained the situation, and were told to cancel the reservation through Booking.com, with the assurance that the cancellation would be accepted. However, after we left, the property refused the cancellation and falsely claimed that we were a “no-show,” which is completely untrue. On top of that, they attempted to charge my card for the full amount. Fortunately, I had already cancelled my card in time, so the charge did not go through. This behavior was unacceptable and caused us significant stress after a long journey. The lack of honesty and professionalism is very concerning. We would not stay here again and strongly advise others to be cautious.”
