Sofia Hotel

“While the breakfast pancakes and the wonderful lady who prepared them were a definite high point, the hotel itself left much to be desired. Its outdated facilities were a major drawback: no in-room Wi-Fi, a blurry old television, and a poorly designed bathroom with the WC and bidet uncomfortably close. Furthermore, my room's window didn't close securely. Although the hotel's location was good and I appreciated the broader food options in Morocco , the staff, despite their apparent efforts to be friendly, unfortunately came across as aggressive or inadequate.”

“Although the hotel has classic furniture, it is clean and quiet, in addition to the good treatment of the staff who work there at the reception and others, and it is close to all the basic facilities. The only drawback is the weak internet. I hope it will be fixed, but the hotel is worth a visit.”

“The rooms are old furnished but clean enough. The foodnwas basic and nothing special. The location is very good - near by a main street good for walk and a shopping center with supermarket + shop for alcohol drinks (this is for the tourists whoal are missing a cold beer in the hot afternoon).”

“A 4-star local hotel. Breakfast includes cheese; we did not find this in other hotels. Both bathroom and room were spacious and clean. Laundry service is also available and clothes were ready in the same day because we gave them to reception early enough. Received the clothes neatly packed in plastic bags. Mini fridge in each of the rooms. Hotel is close to small grocery stores and a 10-minute drive from the old medina.”

“Sofia is a well located hotel in the beautiful city of Fes. You are very close to the main boulevard, you have a lot of restaurants and terraces around, even a shopping mall at 10 minutes walking. ||And the good things stops here. Never been in a hotel with such a horror breakfast. Practically, if there are tourists in the hotel, and you arrive after the first wave, you will have nothing to eat, even if your breakfast is paid. They are literally overhelmed. Not to add that the restaurant is darkish and with a strange smell. ||Rooms are outdated. This is not a 4 star hotel, not in the owners best dreams. 1-2 maximum. ||If you have a chance, book another one.”
