“This hotel is terrible for all inclusive maybe other boards will be worth it but all inclusive deffo isn’t. The hotel itself if lovely and is massive. Wouldn’t even come back here if it was free. The workers are all miserable I get it’s a horrible job to work in hotels but they don’t even try and it’s not just a few staff it’s all of them every time I speak to them I feel like I’ve pissed them off. Rooms- they are big and clean however the aircon is terrible we are here in 35 degree heat and it’s feel like it’s barely on we have to keep blinds and curtains closed all the time otherwise the room is a sweat box and the aircon is running day and night. Pools: Main pool- looks nice however is way to busy too many people around the pool and in the pool. You also have to pay for animation activities. Says you’re not meant to reserve beds yet at 8am all the beds are taken. Small pools: perfect for kids and perfect if your not bothered about swimming not really for us Adult pool- was told on multiple YouTube videos there was an adult only pool at this hotel even says on Tui that there is however you have to pay 200mad for a bed for a day what a joke the main reason we booked this hotel over the Valeria atlas was for the adult pool and it turns out the atlas has an adults only pool that is free. Wifi: barely works have to constantly forget the network and rejoin all the time and it only works in certain areas of the hotel. Water park: Water park is good and has a nice big pool with plenty of beds. However there is no drinks or food included over there and it’s 10 minutes away from the main part of the hotel so your not getting all inclusive unless you are happy to walk back and forth all day in the heat you also arent allowed to take there cups in so make sure you bring flasks. Food: Food is nice however the snack bar is the most misleading menu its says on the app there is a whole menu which in included however when you ask there is literally a burger or panini which you can’t even order until after 3pm even though it says the bar is open from 11am when it’s not. Then you have to pay for the exact same food in the day after 11pm.”
“I stayed at Valeria Madina Club Marrakech and honestly, it was a very disappointing experience. The customer service was extremely poor from start to finish. Staff at reception were unhelpful and didn’t seem to care about guests’ concerns. Simple requests took forever or were just ignored. The waiters were unprofessional and inattentive. Getting basic service at meals or the bar felt like a struggle every single time. You constantly have to chase someone just to be served. The bar service was equally bad. Long waits, disorganized staff, and a general lack of hospitality. It really takes away from what should be a relaxing experience. What shocked me the most is how cheap the hotel is when it comes to bottled water. For a resort style hotel, you’d expect basic essentials to be available without feeling restricted, but that’s not the case here. It feels like everything is controlled and limited in a very unpleasant way. Overall, this hotel does not live up to expectations at all. Poor service, bad organization, and disappointing hospitality. I would not recommend staying here”
“DO NOT STAY HERE! IT’S FOUL!!! This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. Many of the staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and communication was extremely difficult if you didn’t speak Arabic or French. An exception to this was Hitcham who actually did what he promised and delivered great customer service. The excursions manager was also very friendly and helpful. As British guests, we often felt unwelcome. Guests are given different coloured wristbands and British guests appeared to be identified with purple ones, which only added to that feeling. The air conditioning was a major issue. Temperatures reached 40°C, yet we were repeatedly told the AC was working despite our room remaining unbearably hot. Interestingly, the air conditioning seemed to function perfectly well in reception and the dining areas, where the difference was immediately noticeable. The room itself was in poor condition. Our sink was blocked, the shower head was broken, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the shower drain throughout our stay. The rooms are tired, outdated and desperately in need of refurbishment. We called down to reception to report these issues but nobody ever came or if they did, would leave without resolving the issue. Cleanliness and pest control were also concerning. There were ants and cockroaches in various areas, along with an abundance of flies and wasps. The dining area was particularly unpleasant with birds regularly flying around indoors and bird droppings sometimes present while guests were eating. Food is repetitive and you do not feel like eating anything as flies have been sat over almost every dish. This does not appear to concern the staff in the dining area. There are no measures in place to control the amount of flies in and around the dining area. The only real highlight of this hotel was the adults only area, Mango. Although it costs an additional 100 MAD for a sun lounger, plus extra for food and drinks, it provided a much more enjoyable experience. The staff there were attentive, professional and genuinely welcoming. A special mention goes to Nordin, who delivered exceptional customer service and was a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, aside from Mango, I would not recommend this hotel and would not return. WHOEVER REPLIES TO THESE REVIEWS, SAVE YOUR TEMPLATE RESPONSE. I’M NOT INTERESTED.”
“Don't even bother booking this place in the summer period especially with kids. I just came back from there today on a 5 day trip and I can't say anything but bad about them!. NO AIR CONDITIONING in the rooms at all. They say they do but it's just a circulation fan. They say they will change rooms but dont till last minute and the AIR CONDITIONING still doesn't work because they dont have AIR CONDITIONING in any of their rooms. They make you believe that the circulation fan in the room is AIR CONDITIONING when its not, they make a fool out of you. THEY FAVOURITISE French people mostly other than other cultures. Their "All inclusive" is not what you think it is. Same food every day , no taste, blant and smelly. Wild birds flying all around canteen area. Beds have mophs and bed bugs. NO kettles in the room you have to pay around £30 deposit to get one when you should have a kettle especially if you are all inclusive. Just not what they show you on pictures or tell you on description, THIS PLACE IS A HELL HO! Feels like you are in prison in the chambers in the heat without any comfort what so ever. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS LOCATION/RESORT. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!! IF THIS GETS TAKEN DOWN THEN IVE DONE THE RIGHT THING AND EXPOSED THEM. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COSTS.!!!”
“I thought with all the talk on this page just about works going on at the hotel i would give this a post. Despite the Building works going on just now they didnt bother anyone ive just been 3 days ago for a week. The water park is closed and heated pool is closed. There is plenty entertainment throughout the day. darts, ballon popping game, friendly poker, dance games, zumba dance, yoga ect ect. Evening entertainment there is allways entertainment from 6pm til 11pm. From game shows, to dance games, a show by the entertainment team and they include everyone and entertainment for all ages. Now the hotel is brilliant, we got to know the entertainment people very well they were brilliant 🤩 Food is available every hour of the day, from breakfast to late breakfast, lunch to late lunch, then snack bar inbetween late lunch and dinner that you can get very nice french fries and even a mixed grill with chicken, sausages, ham burgers, breads and a salad bar. Then on to dinner till 10 pm then late last hour dinner from 10pm-11 then theres a night club open from 12am-2am then late night takeaway after club openfrom 2ama3am but have to pay for the takeaway food which is understandable. But over all the hotel was brilliant from start to finish, theweather also did make our holiday as we had 20 degrees every day from the 9th till 16th jan was brilliant 🤩”
“This place is amazing. Not sure where all the bad reviews come from . If you want a 5 star hotel go and pay for one. Club medina is excellent . Peak food times are manic , don’t go for dinner at 7.30 when the restaurant opens . Go at 8.30 instead . The staff are really good and if it appears they favour the French that’ll be because they speak French . You want a meaningful chat with the staff learn French . Marrakesh itself isn’t for me but if you love chaos and shiny market stuff then you’ll love it. . The shuttle bus to town is cheap and perfectly adequate . Foods fantastic, sun is always out we would happily return .”
