“This is a very popular and large fruit and vegetable souk in Fes. You can get all fruits and veg that are in season. There are some ladies who clean and package up fresh peas, and artichokes as well as cardoons when they are in season. You can buy fresh chickens and fish at the back of the market as well. If you're up for haggling you can negotiate prices, but the sellers at this souk are very fair, I usually have no issue with the prices they ask.”
