“An unexpected experience. We were led into the kitchen to taste a sample of the different cuisine before we make our choice. The food was great and the service was excellent. The owner speaks good English and has a PhD in Law! We enjoyed the unlimited flow of Moroccan mint tea after a lot of walking. The restaurant is full of antique clocks owned by his grandfather. They are not for sale.”

“We had a wonderful experience at Berrada Family Restaurant in the old medina. The restaurant offers a small daily selection of different tajines, which makes everything feel fresh and authentic. Each tajine is served as an individual portion together with a variety of delicious Moroccan starters and side dishes. Everything was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everyone was extremely kind. The food was flavorful and truly delicious. “Homemade, authentic and extremely good service. You don’t pick from the menu, you taste the menu and then choose your meal, a mix of different tagines. As a plus you get free side dishes consisting of a mix of lentils and beans and local vegetables. Atay is included as well. Cannot be happier to have stumbled upon this place.”
