“Such a beautiful and calm place in the middle of the old Medina, it even seems kind of unreal that there's a garden like this here. Birds chirping in the background, butterflies flying around, trees and lots of other plants offer some shade so even on sunny days the garden can be enyoyed. The owner is very lovely and welcoming - he picked some berries from a tree in the garden and offered some to me, very yummy. I tried the berber spiced coffee and was delicious! I will come back for sure!! :)”
“It doesn’exist anymore. Permanebtly closed. Been there yesterday and there is no entrance to the place. Unless location is badly indicated i can not access the place neither the reception manager of my hotel could. And we are 2 minutes away of this place so…. Please correct the information”
“Nice little secluded garden to sit outside and have food. Friendly host who was extremely welcoming and gave good food recommendations. He even picked a lime fresh off the tree next to our table and squeezed it into my soup. Wonderful experience.”
“The food is very good, but unfortunately I have to leave a negative review due to the owner's brother, Abdul, who is a scammer. He approached us claiming there was a festival nearby and offered to show us the way. What followed was him deliberately leading us through a maze of narrow streets where it's easy to get lost, especially with poor cell reception. We weren't even that far from the restaurant when we realized we had no idea how to get back. As we walked, he kept stopping to talk to people, and at some point we had no choice but to follow him, hoping to reach a more open, public area. My girlfriend and I started feeling trapped with no clear way out. We ended up deep in a remote part of the Medina — far from any tourist areas — where we were completely alone. I feared the worst and it was an incredibly stressful situation. Luckily, we spotted a taxi and managed to get out, but not before being pressured into giving him money. We were essentially taken on an unwanted "tour" by someone who is not a licensed guide — and more importantly, it is illegal. He actually acknowledged this himself, showing us his thumb marked in red, indicating he had been caught by the police before. Ironically, his brother is a former police officer. I genuinely feel sorry for the owner. He left his job to open this restaurant, and his brother's behavior is actively damaging its reputation. Now if this guy is not his brother, well is stil a problem for the business since the Owner knows who he is and he allows him to be in the restaurant”
