“Absolutely BEAUTIFUL boutique hotel in a great location in the old town of Fez. The staff are delightful and the restaurant on the roof (Dar Tazi) is one of the most delicious restaurants i’ve visited in morocco. The views are breathtaking and you have to try their maticha m’assala (tomato jam) which comes as part of their moroccan salads. I also reccomend the Lham bel barkouk Great service from staff once again and especially the kind aunty who checked on us multiple times and even served us herself 🙏 Thank you”
“I visited this restaurant all the way from the United Kingdom and the service that I received was atrocious. Me and two guests first visited the cafe/bar area with a breath taking view as attached. As today was very hot we decided to skip refreshments and go straight to the restaurant for a meal/drinks. I first asked a waiter if it was ok to go into the restaurant from the cafe and asked this waiter if I could speak to the restaurant original waiter that served us in the cafe/bar area to confirm it was ok, he responded with “No need its ok”. We proceeded to seat ourselves at a convenient table and got settled. We were then asked to move tables as that table was reserved, so we did as asked and moved to another table that we were directed to. The original waiter that served us in the cafe/bar area appeared out of no where to tell us that this table that we were moved to was also booked and that was the straw that broken the camels back. At this point we expressed our dissatisfaction and proceeded to leave. The original waiter starter to offer a half hearted apology and at which point I asked to speak to a Manager. A polite aunty appeared and began to apologise. In the end they offered us back the most recent table that we were told was unavailable but this was just another slap in the face. Stay clear. Poor Poor Poor service and this is suppose to be a Buji restaurant.🤦🏾♂️”
“Overall what a pity. What we liked: -the view was breathless; -the traditional pastilla was delicious. What we did not like: -the menus fixed without the chance to order à la carte. -We had to wait standing in front of the counter more than ten minutes to pay. -There was too much food in the big menu. -The service was not adeguate for the level of the restaurant. -In general the quality of food was not adeguate for the level of the restaurant. (Cous cous was lower than average).”
“We booked a flying carpet experience and it was a truly special and magical experience! He had our tea served on the roof with our personal musical concert just for the two of us! The music was amazing, the service was great, especially Chaimae made sure that everything was perfect, thank you!”
“I have never been treated with such disrespect in a café before. I had a very disappointing experience at Palais Tazi. I only stopped by for a coffee, but the way I was treated by the staff was honestly shocking. The behavior was not just unprofessional, it felt outright disrespectful. In a city like Fes, which is known for its hospitality and rich culture, I expected a completely different level of service. Unfortunately, this place does not reflect those values at all. There was no warmth, no basic courtesy, and I genuinely felt uncomfortable during my visit. It’s rare that I leave a place feeling this negatively, but this experience stood out for all the wrong reasons. I would not recommend this place to anyone visiting Fes. There are many other cafés in the city where you will be treated with respect and actually enjoy your time.”
“What an amazing meal! I popped in here in the early evening for something to eat and was completely impressed. The food is incredibly flavourful; the staff are warm and friendly; the view of the Medina at sunset is unbeatable. Very happy to have stumbled across this place”
