“We’ve just finished a fabulous stay at Ryad Amiran Spa! We checked in on Thursday, hot and bothered after our flight and 30 mins dragging our cases through the souks after getting dropped off in the wrong place. We were welcomed with smiles and delicious mint tea. It’s a stunning little spot, with maybe 8-10 rooms, and a rooftop terrace which we spent a lot of time on. Breakfast was yummy too. I’d definitely stay here again, I’ve had a fab stay. I put location as 4/5 as it was down some side streets which could feel a bit remote if you were on your own, but we felt very safe the whole time. Top tip: do not let your driver drop you off in the square; we had an EasyJet transfer and it was honestly 30 mins of dragging our cases. Get dropped off at the Bab Yacout archway and it’s a three minute walk 👌🏻”
“First time in Morocco and it was perfect! Riad Amiran is very tranquil and all the staff is always ready to help. Beds were super comfortable, we had the best sleep ever! Shower is fantastic. We feel incredibly inspired by all the kindness and beauty of Morocco.”
“The hotel is clean, but unfortunately the rooms are extremely small. For three people, an extra bed was squeezed into the room, making it feel very cramped. There wasn’t even a proper window—just a small interior opening facing the inside of the kasbah, where anyone could see in. It felt claustrophobic and not private at all. When we asked to change rooms and even offered to pay extra, we were told that this was already the largest room in the entire hotel. If that’s true, it’s honestly quite shocking that the “biggest room” has no proper window. Housekeeping was also disappointing. Our towels were not replaced, only refolded, and we were given just one tiny bottle of shower gel for three people with no refill provided. Breakfast was underwhelming as well, so we were relieved we didn’t book lunch or dinner there. The only real positive is the hotel’s location close to the markets. Otherwise, the stay didn’t meet expectations.”
