“Stayed for a couple nights after being in the mountains. Great location and easy to find. Salah is super helpful through WhatsApp before you arrive and really friendly in person with help for things to do or places to eat etc. Thanks very much :)”
“Our experience here was great. We came as a group of 4 girls and from the beginning Salah and his team made sure we felt safe and welcomed. We arrived at night and Salah met us at the van to walk us through the alleys to the hostel which set a positive tone for this trip. We had a couple odd requests that Salah went above and beyond to fulfill. He was quick to respond, was very kind, and an amazing host! The breakfast was great for the price! We stayed in the 4 mixed with our whole group - the beds were comfortable and the temperature was great. Our floor had one bathroom with 2 toilets, 2 showers, and 1 sink. At times it could be a little dirty and wet from the showers, but nothing too bad! Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this hostel to travelers!”
“Staff are very attentive and helpful. Property is close to local markets and easy to get to places from. Has a very very good hammam place next door. Security is good. Mr Salah and Sana were very helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Hot shower always available as Morocco can be chilly in the mornings and evenings. Can take a bit of finding on your first night. Very late check in This is no fault of the hostel. We could have easily used Google maps and it would be fine. We also got instructions from property manager on how to get to the hostel on our own. We got here very late in the night and a local told us the road to the hostel is dangerous which was a complete lie just to get some money off us. Day time arrival will be absolutely fine. Breakfast was very delicious. Free wifi available and very fast. Overall very good value for money. 5 ⭐️ rating”
“The sun hostel was the best hostel I have stayed at so far in my travels. To start off, Salah, the receptionist, was such a cool guy to talk to. He helped my friends and I with any questions we had. He even moved our heavy mopeds for my friend and I because we parked them in the wrong place. The breakfast was a very tasty traditional Morrocon meal. Hanging upstairs in the lounge area was also great as some how everyone I met was very kind. The best part was the baby cats that stayed at the hostel!”
“It was a pleasant place to stay. We booked it for one night and it’s a decent place for a short stay. The room is spacious, although it says shared bathroom you actually get your own bathroom, it’s just not an en-suite. Salah (manager/owner?) was very courteous- he also helped us out with printing boarding passes, which we had only realised quite late night.”
“Walkable distance to all the must sees in Marrakech. Big thanks to Salah for hosting a friendly cheerful and accommodating stay. Made my trip that much more special from the local recommendations to the friendly chats. Guests come from all over and were always friendly approachable and a good time. Gonna be a place you don’t want to miss out on.”
