“I recently stayed at Ourika Camp Suites Hotel & Resort, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Here’s a detailed account of what I encountered: 1. Noise and Sleep Quality Forget about peace and quiet – at night, it felt like a band of frogs and crickets were giving a live concert. If you value your sleep, bring earplugs because it’s almost impossible to rest. 2. Air Conditioning Issues The air conditioning in my room did not work. I called the reception multiple times, but no one answered. In the end, I had to clean the filters myself just to get it running a little. 3. Cleanliness Concerns Spiders in the corners, ants in the room, hair on the sofa, hair stuck in the shower, and even hair in the sink – clearly, housekeeping needs serious improvement. The floor was dusty, and it looked like the room hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time. 4. Bathroom & Amenities No hot water during my stay, no kettle, no iron, and no fridge were provided in the room. The towels were a disaster – white towels with visible yellow stains that made me question their hygiene standards. 5. Food & Drinks Breakfast was extremely poor and repetitive – just a few pieces of reheated bread, a spoon of oil, about a dozen olives, and coffee. There is no buffet, no menu, and no choice. If you’re on a diet, this might work for you, but otherwise, it’s very disappointing. There was no complimentary water in the room or at breakfast. If you ask for a bottle, be prepared to pay five times the normal price. I recommend bringing your own water. 6. Staff & Service Housekeeping entered my room without knocking while I was napping – completely unacceptable. At checkout, I had to pay additional taxes, which I was not informed about earlier. The man at the reception even took my phone, logged into my booking app without permission, and tried to leave the hotel a high rating. Thankfully, it didn’t work. 7. Facilities & Location The pool was average (6/10 at best). Wi-Fi was painfully slow – slower than a turtle. Parking has no shelter, so my car’s interior turned into an oven. The hotel is far from the city center, and transport options are limited, so having a car is almost a must. 8. Value for Money For the price I paid, I expected much better standards. I have stayed in Marrakech at the same price with far superior quality. 9. The Only Positive The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that they don’t force you to check out exactly on time. You can leave a bit later if you need to. --- Final Verdict Overall, Ourika Camp Suites Hotel & Resort was a disappointment. Poor cleanliness, weak service, lack of basic amenities, and overpriced extras made my stay uncomfortable. The management really needs to step up if they want this place to meet even basic expectations. I would not recommend it unless major improvements are made.”
“Camped in our 4x4defender, great spot. Ate twice in their restaurant and breakfast was amazing for very little money staff very friendly and helpful, gorgeous pitches surrounded by flowering plants. Showers clean and hot. Recommended”
“My Experience at Ourika Camp Suites Hotel & Resort I had high hopes for this stay, but sadly, Ourika Camp Suites Hotel & Resort turned out to be one of my most disappointing hotel experiences. From the very first night, it was hard to sleep — the sound of frogs and crickets was so loud it felt like an outdoor concert. When I tried to cool down the room, I discovered the air conditioning wasn’t working. Calling reception didn’t help, since no one answered, so I ended up cleaning the AC filters myself. The state of the room was another big letdown. Dust on the floor, spiders in the corners, ants crawling around, and hair everywhere — on the sofa, in the shower, even in the sink. Towels were stained and unpleasant to use. There was no hot water most of the time, and the room had no kettle, no fridge, no iron, and barely any plugs for charging devices. Breakfast was a disappointment too — definitely not a buffet. They serve the same thing every day: a few reheated pieces of bread, some olives, a little oil, and coffee. That’s it. No variety, no choice. There’s no free water, and if you want a bottle, you’ll pay five times the normal price. The service also needs serious improvement. Housekeeping walked into my room without knocking while I was taking a nap — completely unacceptable. At checkout, I was charged extra taxes that weren’t mentioned before. To make things worse, the receptionist took my phone, logged into my booking app, and tried to give the hotel a high rating himself. The facilities are just okay — the pool might be a 6/10 at best, Wi-Fi is painfully slow, and the parking area has no cover, so the car gets extremely hot. The location is far from the city center, so you’ll need your own transport. The only positive thing I can say is that they are flexible about checkout times — you don’t have to leave exactly at the scheduled hour. Overall, this place is overpriced for what it offers. I’ve stayed in Marrakech for the same price and had a much better experience. Unless serious changes are made — better cleaning, proper maintenance, and improved service — I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.”

“Honest Review – Ourika Camp Suites Hotel & Resort I recently stayed at Ourika Camp Suites Hotel & Resort, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Noise & Sleep Sleeping here is a challenge – the sound of frogs and crickets at night is so loud it feels like a live concert outside your room. Air Conditioning & Maintenance The AC didn’t work. I tried calling reception, but no one answered. I ended up cleaning the filters myself just to get a bit of cool air. Cleanliness This was the biggest issue for me. The room had spiders in the corners, ants on the floor, dust everywhere, hair on the sofa, hair in the shower, and even hair in the sink. It looked like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The towels were stained yellow and looked very old. Amenities There was no hot water, no kettle, no iron, no fridge, and almost no electricity plugs to charge my phone or laptop. Breakfast & Water Breakfast is extremely poor – just a few pieces of reheated bread, a spoon of oil, some olives, and coffee. There’s no buffet or menu, so you have no choice. If you want drinking water, be ready to pay 5x the normal price, as there’s none in the room or at breakfast. Staff & Service Housekeeping entered my room without knocking while I was napping. At checkout, I had to pay more taxes that I wasn’t told about. Even worse, the receptionist took my phone without permission, logged into my booking app, and tried to rate the hotel highly. Facilities & Location The pool is average (6/10). Wi-Fi is very slow. Parking has no shelter, so the car gets very hot. The hotel is far from the city center, so you really need your own car to get around. Price & Value The price is too high for what you get. I’ve stayed at hotels in Marrakech for the same price with much better standards. Only Positive The only good point is that they don’t force you to check out exactly on time – you can leave a bit later if needed. --- Bottom Line This hotel has potential but is badly managed. Dirty rooms, poor service, lack of basic amenities, and extra charges make it hard to recommend. With better cleaning, proper maintenance, and fair pricing, it could be a good place – but right now, I wouldn’t stay here again.”
