“Amazing hotel. Very clean and quiet rooms. Great and friendly service. The bathroom was very clean and the shower nice and warm. The garden looked nice, we didnt go there because it is winter now. The breakfast was very good. A nice assortment of bread and pastries. Freshly baked egg and pressed juice. The lobby looks very nice and the paintings in every room and hallway are breathtaking. The walk into town is not too far. The road is wide and makes it feel safe. There is busses and taxis nearby. The road itself is very quiet, which is good for sleeping without noise.”
“I am ambiguous writing a review on this hotel, on surface everything was very close to being exactly what we wanted but there is an underlying aura of decay and being run down. First impressions are good even though we had booked the ground floor (basement) room it was very nice and cosy, very comfortable bed etc. Location of the hotel was great, 15 minute to the centre of the Medina, main avenues with restaurants, shops etc, really the dead centre of town. The concerns?, simple things, ashtrays going unemptied for days, swimming pool needs a clean, the rooftop terrace which used to be a restaurant-closed...rather dirty sun loungers....But the thing that really stood out was the front door entrance stopped working on day three and seemingly no effort was made to repair it meaning we all had to use the back door for remaining 4 days, both sides of the path leading to the back door were untended and looked pretty bad. Breakfast was not great... It is such a shame as the potential is there to have a great little boutique hotel IF some effort was put into it. Honorable mention must be given to the cleaning lady who looked after our room- great job...”
“We loved our stay there. It was very well located at Guéliz and the staff were very friendly, helpful and proactive. Will definitely come back when coming to Marrakesh again.”
“Stayed here with my husband and 3 year old son. It was a very comfortable stay. We arrived very late in the evening and they were very accommodating. Our room was in the basement which was a little unsettling to begin with as the elevator takes you to the kitchen and laundry areas. However, it was a very large space with ensuite bathroom and toilet and our very own hammam (which we didn't know how to use). The decor and linen were all top notch and the bed was ample big enough for the three of us. The lighting in the bathroom is a little dim and wouldn't suit anyone who wears substantial makeup (not a problem for me). The communal areas are lovely. Breakfast is different (and smaller) to what we are used to in European or even countries that were colonized by Britain. But I cannot fault value for money when you consider that breakfast is included in the price. It is a little outside the souks/medina but a very walkable distance (this means it's much quieter especially at night). Overall, an excellent stay in well cared for a beautifully decorated riad.”
“The hotel is located very close to the touristic attractions. It’s only 12 minutes walking distance from the Marrakesh market. The staff are very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here”
“A really nice place located just between the old town and the new town, and less than 15 minutes by taxi from the airport, so it’s ideally located for seeing Marrakesh. The room was large and comfortable with a fridge to keep food and drinks cool. The breakfast was very good and there was plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough. The area around the pool caught the sun and there’s a large sun terrace on the roof. All at a very reasonable price.”
