“The location is excellent, with almost everything within easy walking distance. A special thank you to the young man working at the night reception – he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and really made our stay more enjoyable. The room was nice overall, although the floor felt a little dirty. You could clearly hear noise from the hallway, but it wasn’t a major issue. The hotel was mostly very quiet, and we still slept well every night. The breakfast was tasty and had a good selection. The only downside was that there were quite a few flies and wasps around the breakfast area, which became a bit annoying while eating. While our overall stay was pleasant, our experience with the staff was a bit mixed. The night receptionist stood out for his excellent service, but not everyone was as welcoming. At times, we felt that some staff members became less friendly because we chose not to book excursions through the hotel. We also found it surprising that card payments seemed to be discouraged in some situations, with a clear preference for cash. Overall, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the great location, comfortable nights, and the outstanding service from the night receptionist.”

“Fantastic! We stayed here for a long weekend in April and we absolutely loved it. The location is so central in the Medina, wind your way down a few quiet backstreets and you’re right in the main square. The welcome on arrival was so warm, like visiting long lost family. Issam, Ayoub and the rest of the team are wonderful, so hospitable. We were greeting with Moroccan tea, biscuits and a small insight into Morocco culture. The rooms were lovely, as was breakfast on the roof overlooking Marrakech in the North|African sun. There are more expensive, resort-style places to stay, outside the medina, but this felt way more authentic, charming and memorable. We would go back in a heartbeat! Merci beaucoup, Riad Hamdane! “Excellent position right in the middle of Medina but tucked away in a quiet side street. It looked like it was recently renovated, and much better that the other Riads we walk past on the way. The room had a very comfortable mattress, the bathroom was small but had everything and was very clean. The housekeeping very efficient and effective. The rooftop turned out to be a great place from where to admire the sunset. All the staff were tremendous, super nice, super polite and always willing to go the extra mile. A special shout out for Housni at reception who made us feel very welcome and had a great sense of humor, and the main waiter at breakfast who was very attentive and looked after us very well every morning.”

“A beautiful Riad in the heart of the city. The best of both worlds! Honestly cannot recommend more, the riad is walking distance from the vibrant life inside the city of Marrakech yet offers serenity with it’s private rooftop, quiet room and spa. The staff is super friendly, the waitress Hiba was super nice to even borrow me her scarf when I was cold during breakfast. Super sweet thank you🥰❤️. Also notable mention to Husni who gave us recommendations and made sure we were comfortable the whole stay, and who told us a bit of history of the local gems. Food was also super good. Make this Riad your next stay, for sure we will be coming back.”

“Good location. Truly awful breakfast and rooftop. They try to bribe you to leave an amazing review wiith free airport transfers and subsequent room discounts - we would not have booked this place based on the supposed 9.5 plus star reviews knowing what we experienced. Don't be fooled by the photos - they suggest a rooftop experience that does not exist. No bar, dirty little pool, average views - there are far better riads to be had in this price bracket.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Hamdane! Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming during our stay. The breakfast we had daily was delicious and the rooftop and pool was an added bonus. Perfect location walking distance to everything you need! We would definitely return :)”
