“Quiet, clean rooms with air conditioning, nice staff. Menu the same for lunch and dinner, breakfast good. No where to go within walking distance be prepared to use Uber, In drive or a taxi. Pool clean and well maintained with lovely double sunbeds, south facing so sunshine all day long. There is a Spa but I did not access this so am unable to advise on available treatments. Overall a lovely holiday but very quiet.”
“I spent five days at the hotel with my family and feel inclined to leave a review because of the wonderful experience we had. The place was breathtaking and so cozy, all the employees were the kindest most generous people and treated us like a family. We felt so at home and made many beautiful memories. We will miss everyone, especially Mohsine, who became best friends with my dad. We hope to visit again and wish everyone the best!”
“Absolutely not as described on the tour operators website. Accommodation is well below that of any of the images shown. Theirs been no interest in offering us information about the hotel or services including the spa. We were hungry when we arrived and no food was available or solution offered initially. No snacks offered or bar open. I asked where a local shop was and then someone finally went off to find the chef who kindly made us a salad. But no further drinks etc offered. Very disappointing. Our room was advised that it was their basic room which looked luxurious and inviting on the website but the harsh reality of walking through mud to get to basic Accommodation has completely put us off our holiday. We now just want to go home. I like to use smaller businesses rather than a chain and this has made me completely rethink that in future its been an awful experience. We were offered the next room up which we are now in but its still below the standard of those listed on the website. We are waiting to hear from our tour operator as the hotel have refused to refund us. The tour operator noted that they work 24 hours and that they will aim to resolve ASAP but its been 4 hours and heard nothing from @loveholidays”
“I booked this hotel for three nights based on the pictures online, but the reality was completely different. The room was in very poor condition. • The carpet was torn and looked neglected. • The headboard had visible dirt marks that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. • Even the window blinds didn’t fit the window frame properly, letting in light and making the room feel unfinished and uncomfortable. I ended up leaving after the first night because the conditions were simply unacceptable. The hotel didn’t offer a refund, nor did they provide another room or any solution, despite the obvious issues. On top of that, the staff’s behavior made the experience even worse. They were cold, unhelpful, and showed zero professionalism. They didn’t seem concerned about the issues or willing to assist in any way. Overall, this place doesn’t even deserve one star. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone — the photos online do NOT reflect the real state of the room.”
“The hotel experience was very disappointing. They charged extra money for services that should have been included. The rooms were very dirty, and the food was cold and there wasn’t enough of it. The hotel is also very far from the city center, and no taxi drivers wanted to take us because of the distance. Overall, it was a very bad experience and I would not recommend this hotel.”
““I wish to share my extremely negative experience at Palais de l’O to warn other travelers and to make an exceptional request for a refund. Upon our arrival, the room was in a deplorable condition, resembling an abandoned house full of dust: poor overall hygiene, presence of insects, and old, damaged furniture. These conditions made the stay impossible, especially since I was traveling with my 2-month-old daughter, who has asthma. When I requested a refund, my husband and I were forcibly expelled in the middle of the night after security was called, without any intervention from the manager, who was absent and unwilling to resolve the issue. We could only communicate with a cleaning staff member by phone, who was unable to assist us. Quickly, this unsanitary environment caused my daughter to have a severe respiratory crisis requiring immediate care and isolation. We could only stay in the hotel for two hours, even though we had booked for four nights. I have photos proving the unsanitary condition of the rooms. The staff were cold and unprofessional, showing no concern for our safety or that of our sick baby. This experience was shocking and completely unacceptable. I consider this experience catastrophic and rate the hotel below zero. I will never return to this establishment and strongly advise against it, especially for families with young children.””
