“Terrible experience. The way to the hotel isn't safe and also isn't accessible. Terrible customer service, the phone number that they have listed is out of service and is not even a moroccan phone number. I ended up losing all my money an without using the service. Please don't come here unless if you wanna get robbed.”
“First, this is a review for a RIAD, not a hotel. Riad Elixir is a great example of a Riad. That said, you will NOT get a hotel experience here, but you will see a typical Riad and enjoy more of a B&B experience. The host is friendly and VERY helpful. His English is good, and he will share local knowledge with you. He recommended a Café to us and walked there with us! The location is north of the main market but easily walkable for those in decent shape. You will need a map or cell service and mapping app to navigate the maze of the old city. The best buys are closest to this Riad. You can not take a taxi to the door and will have a short walk from any drop of point. The area looks sketchy but is very safe, even late at night.”
“I really enjoyed my stay at Riad Dar Tamlil. I got a super friendly welcome with a glass of mint tea, which was a nice touch after travelling for a long time. My room was clean and comfortable, with a good bed, a small sitting area, and a private shower. The riad itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, and the rooftop terrace is a great place to chill out. Breakfast was tasty and well taken care of every morning. A big shoutout to Hicham, who is such a kind and helpful man. He was always around and working hard. He really adds something special to the place. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The location is great, right between Jemaa el-Fnaa and Place des Ferblantiers. This means you’re close to the Bahia and Badi palaces, and just around the corner from Passage Prince Moulay Rachid, where you’ll find lots of nice restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!”
“Wonderful family-run oasis 5min away from the ElFna. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes the place quickly feel like a second home. They serve a classy Moroccan style breakfast. Will definitely come again!”
