Riad Laurence Olivier

“I am writing this on our last night staying at the beautiful Laurence Olivier Riad! This is a convenient location for daily trips to the main square and is a tranquil place to come and relax away from the liveliness of Marakesh - a little slice of paradise! Upon our arrival, we were greeted by our concierge Ali, who was ready with a warm mint tea as he explained how the riad worked and showed us where everything was located in relation to our hotel. We saw Ali every day of our holiday and he is a real credit to this establishment. We also developed a great relationship with Mohammed, who also looked after us really well! No task was too big or small for him and he really helped us get around the city by hailing taxi’s for us and negotiating a sensible price for each trip we took (at least one per day!). We often found getting taxi’s around Marrakech, drivers would quote us 100 dirhams each trip, but with Mohammed’s help these often cost 60-70! These two (Ali and Mohammed) among staff behind the scenes made our trip so much smoother and we hope this feedback is passed on to them to show our appreciation! We had dinner at the riad one evening and it was our favourite one of the trip - felt like a lovely home cooked meal! We will certainly be returning and would have no hesitation recommending this riad to anyone looking to stay!”

“Beautiful stay in this Riad, Mohammed and the team couldn’t do enough for us and was incredibly helpful. Breakfast every morning was lovely and were able to cater to an earlier breakfast when we had trips booked which Mohammed helped us with booking. The rooftop was perfect for watching sunset. Easy to walk everywhere in the medina and 500m if that from the main road for taxis if required and for back and forth the airport”

“Stayed here with my friend a couple of weeks ago on a last minute trip to Marrakech and it was absolutely incredible! The riad itself it stunning and a peaceful sanctuary from the bustle of the Medina. We were greeted by Muhamet who was the kindest, most gracious person and he couldn't do enough for us. As this was our first time visiting Marrakech and as two young women we wanted some tips on getting about safely and things to do, and Muhamet was kind enough to sit with us and tell us about various day trips, getting around to sightsee and general tips for the area. We were so grateful for this knowledge as it was super helpful for getting around! Our room was gorgeous, and the whole place was peaceful, clean and well kept. Muhamet served us the most beautiful Moroccan breakfast every day and was on hand for anything we needed throughout our stay. We were so grateful for his kind hospitality and will never forget it. We felt very safe and at home and comfortable staying here and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Marrakech, I can't recommend it highly enough!”
