“Beautiful, traditional riad, with everything you need and very close to all the activities around Marrakech. But our favorite thing about our stay was the staff – they really made it feel like a home away from home! From organizing transfers to serving a delicious breakfast every morning at whatever time you need! We had booked a tour and never got our confirmation from the tour company the night before like we were supposed to, and Ibrahim helped us get in touch with the tour company (very late at night I might add), and made sure everything was in order. He even offered to have someone walk us very early in the morning to our pickup spot. Could not have asked for a better stay in Marrakech, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting!”
“We went for couple massage on the 6th of May were we booked for hammam and massage. It was birthday gift for my partner and it was terrible experience. From the first moment we got asked by Ibrahim to get changed in the room where people leave their luggage and my partner as we were about to get changed noticed there was CCTV camera in the room which is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. We made him aware and he than asked us to get changed in the massage room. We than proceeded with the hammam but the steam room did not work and there was no steam I didn’t want to complain and we was sat there cold in the room and the door from the inside was broken so the staff could not close and had to leave the door open so cold air got in. Afterwards we than had massage and will be honest this was not good either. The staff working were very nice but this is the fault of the management, broken facilities and on top of that I complained to him and we still got charged full price and he the manager kept blaming the poorl staff which it was not there fault I am extremely disappointed it had ruined a birthday experience and we wasted our last day.”
“My husband gifted me a Hammam experience here for my birthday this week, and unfortunately the experience started very uncomfortably. The manager asked us to change in a very small room next to the entrance where the staff keep their bags and personal belongings. Before changing, I noticed there was a camera in the room, which I found completely inappropriate and uncomfortable. When I raised my concern, they then took us downstairs to change in the massage room instead, but the whole situation felt quite dodgy and unprofessional. That said, the woman who carried out the Hammam and massage treatment was kind throughout the experience.”
“I have to begin by thanking our lovely host & concierge Brahim, for making our stay there seamless, relaxing and who's been extremely helpful with anything we needed during our time there! The riad is a lovely small, quiet and simple stay, with great food, a lovely rooftop, great value and great access to a sauna, hammam and massage/nail parlour in the basement. The reason I gave it 4 stars, is mostly due to the fact that the riad could do with a bit of refreshing. We noticed a few odd sewage smells in our room come and go, but also a bit of mold or run-down furniture in parts of the room/hotel. Not to say that the hotel is like this through out or is disgusting, but I think it's definitely in need of replacing a few things and a deep-deep clean of the whole place. I would definitely come back, but I just hope the owners there can help bring this place to its full potential! Thanks again for having us and we'll see you around!”
“Had a lovely stay here with my wife. Inside was very beautiful and traditional. The morrocan breakfast each morning was masterfullyand beautifully prepared. Price a little more than usual riad but I would say it is worth it. We very much enjoyed our stay.”
“My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Riad Sof & Yan in Marrakech. Our room was spacious and really comfortable, which made it easy to settle in right away. We ended up using the rooftop every day to relax, work and sunbathe, and it quickly became one of our favourite spots in the riad. The breakfast each morning was a very good: a traditional Moroccan spread that was fresh, generous, and varied. We also enjoyed a 30-minute massage that was included in our stay, and the masseur was excellent, surprisingly skilled and incredibly relaxing. What truly made the whole experience stand out, though, were Ibrahim and Oualid. They were both kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. Ibrahim made sure everything ran smoothly, from arranging transport to offering great recommendations, and Oualid brought such a warm, welcoming energy to the place. They made us feel genuinely cared for from the moment we arrived. Thanks to them, the riad felt more like a home than a hotel. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend Riad Sof & Yan to anyone visiting Marrakech.”
