“The place is wonderful! It's in the heart of Medina, and you can feel the local vibe. Jemma el-Fna square is a 15 minute walk from the Riad. The staff are very kind and helpful, always with a smile on their face, especially Hamza. The premium room that we booked was marvelous! Everything was perfect!”
“Everything was beautiful! Hamza, Noel and Abdul made the Riad feel like home, always been helpful, happy, kind and very very professional. I had a fantastic time, it's in one of the best spot of the Medina for my opinion, 5/10 minutes away from Jemaa el Fnaa and 20 seconds away from the Souks, so very central! I don't understand the other reviews, people complaining about the breakfast or the location. The breakfast had a lot of things, fresh fruit, orange juice, tea, coffee, jam, butter, yogurt... As a woman I walked several times night time in the streets and never had any problem. I want to underline how beautiful it is,and the location is extremely nice, believe me, you're out of the Riad and you're walking in the true Marrakech, colours, smells, everything is wonderful! Well done to everyone”
“Riad Spa du Chameau was a great place to stay in. I only give it 4 stars for the management. The staff was nice, very quick in trying to please you, to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The room was big, a little bit cold but with air conditioner - so that wasn't a problem in colder days. The place gives you the authentic Moroccan experience, with healthy breakfasts, fresh juices and mint tea along local pastry products.”
“Appalling customer service from Hamza, the person in charge, who didn’t complete the check-in formalities on arrival and sent Abduraman at 11.30 pm to our room when we were fast asleep to collect the tax charges of 5€ plus our pending food bill of 14€. Please note that the room charge was already paid in full before arrival. When asked if we could pay the next day at check-out (as it is common practice in most hotels based on our traveling experience), we were rudely treated and denied our request on the grounds that there would be no staff available at 9am (which was actually not true). When asked if we could pay by card he insisted that it wasn’t possible. We asked to speak with the manager and we were aggressively verbally treated and were asked to leave the premises at midnight by Hamza if we didn’t pay right then (which we anyway never disagreed on). They also asked to keep our passports as deposit until the morning. We have never been to a such a shockingly inhospitable property in 20 years of traveling. By far, the worst customer service we have received in our lives. After our stay the property cancelled the booking on the reservation app to presumably avoid a bad review (despite having stayed and paid the room charges). We had to contact the booking app to get our booking reinstated and publish a review. On a positive note, the ground staff (Cook, nightwatchman, cleaning staff), were super kind and helpful.”
“Everything from the room to the terrace to the staff were wonderful and accommodating. We were travelling with our toddler, and the warm welcome we received set the mood for our entire visit. The room was immaculate, decorated simply and elegantly. A crib was provided free of charge, and we were allowed access to the kitchen to store food and milk for our daughter. Hamda was a marvelous help, arranging teansportation for us and providing guidance surrounding navigating the Medina. And the rooftop tub was the perfect temperature to soak away the stiffness of a long day of sightseeing. If ever we return to Marrakech, we'll return here, and recommend anyone visiting to do the same.”
“The best hotel we've ever stayed in Morocco. We do appreciate the first class service provided by the staffs. They are pretty professional. Even try to help us in any circumstances. A cozy room, satisfying price, and the best services! We're grateful for all the help and kindness. 感謝, appreciation from Taiwan.”
